Our eyes on the street sent us this picture today of the new Wing-Stop and the new Kebab Shop in the Meridian Square shopping center on Concord Ave. at Meridian Park Blvd. in Concord (Trader Joe’s shopping center).
The restaurants will be located where Jimmy John’s and Blaze Pizza were located, backing up to Concord Ave.
Wing-Stop recently closed their location in the Clayton Valley shopping center on Ygnacio Valley Rd. in Concord, and the Kebab Shop is planning to move their restaurant in the Orchards shopping center on Oak Grove at Ygnacio in Walnut Creek by hiring local movers with a truck.
Who remembers when the Peppermill restaurant occupied that entire corner of Concord Ave. and Meridian Park Blvd.?

Loved the Peppermill. They had the best Long Island Ice T’s.

Does anybody remember what year The Peppermill shut down?
Peppermill closed all their restaurant/lounges in the mid 2000s as i recall, they moved their focus to the casino business. (The Peppermill restaurants were under the same umbrella as The Peppermill Reno/Western Village Sparks NV).
