Monday is the last day to register to vote in Contra Costa County to receive a ballot in the mail, according to the clerk-recorder and registrar of voters office.
Residents can still register to vote after Monday, but they will be required to register and vote in person.
Residents can register to vote online at https://registertovote.ca.gov/ or they can fill out a voter registration card. Cards can be found at most city halls, libraries and post offices in the county.
Cards must be postmarked by Monday and online registration must be completed by midnight Monday to receive a ballot in the mail.
Residents can check their voter registration status online at http://www.contracostavote.gov/. At that site, residents should click on the My Voting Information button.
