More tax payer money, more waste, more free stuff, and ZERO change
People need help. I don’t care how they get it. Maybe the “anti-free stuff” people will figure out a better solution but until then… I’m going to support it.
We should care how they get it, and they should care how they get it. From a self esteem standpoint, the best way to get it is to earn it.
Either way, if you can’t be an athlete, be an athletic supporter.

This all sounds like right out of the UN agenda playbook. Some of it is logical progression. I don’t see anything wrong with helping the homeless and am all for it. But it may be as well thought out as EV cars.
There are lots of seniors who would like to downsize their living accommodations but they don’t make it easy. If they want more homes for families then focus on making it easier for folks to downsize. But they’ll have to take their heads out of the clouds to do that.

Newsom has literally been promising and failing since 2004 to fix the homelessness situation, and here he is cheering on yet more money to be thrown away. How many paradigm shifts does this one make? I lost count. Look at the still picture, even he is struggling to not break out laughing.
From the sound of this alot of houses and hotels are going to get burned down,they wont wise up as homeless want to be homeless,and they will continue to tax and never show where the money goes,and nothing will get better,only worse,with more failure and structural and urban destruction.
If these people could live in a home setting they would,it isnt a money issue,it’s drug addicted mental illness issue that the govt ignores and pretends its just people that cant afford a place.That’s about %1 of the homeless.,
REALITY.
It’s becoming very clear that everything Gavin Newsom is doing now is to lay the pathway for his run for president in 2024. This chameleon, is changing his colors and skin for the time being to be more palatable to trick people to vote for him. So I expect the next two years he’s going to sound quite moderate and even conservative at times to try to win the voters over for his presidential win but the moment he would get into office he’ll be a far left turn into the crazies orbit.
Yes it’s prom night and Newsom is trying to get into the pants of the American public.
What he doesn’t understand, is at least 40 states feel California is a train wreck and it’s Governor is bats*** crazy. Those are stats that are pretty hard to overcome, even with a measured quantity of voter fraud.
To use a California euphemism, Newsom is attempting to get to fifth base. Unless you like that sort of thing, I recommend voting against it.

all the people standing and clapping with Gavan should be forced to give up their home and second homes to support the initiative.
