Another heat wave is heading to the Bay Area this weekend and the National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for most of the region.

While conditions could change in the coming days, a “robust warming trend” is expected to start Thursday and will likely last through the Labor Day Weekend, according to the Weather Service.

The worst of the heat is expected in the East Bay, North Bay, the southern Salinas Valley and San Benito County, where temperatures are forecast to peak in the 90s and 100s with little relief during the overnight hours.

Coastal areas and the San Francisco Peninsula are expected to benefit from the marine layer and should only top out in the 70s and 80s, according to the weather service.

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District forecasts “moderate” air quality through Saturday.

Pretty bad when you have to explain “what can you do”. Duh

NO problem, just fire up all those Peaker Plants built to supply extra electricity in high demand periods to keep the AC and lights on.

Oh that’s right green agenda DEMs and their unelected bureaucrats did away with Peaker Plants without first building scalable replacement generating capacity to replace plants they had torn down.

Funny thing, ever notice when unelected bureaucrats and politicians get it WRONG they are not held accountable nor are no negative consequences for them ? ?

As you end up sitting in the dark, SWEATING, wondering if that expensive food, due to DEM caused inflation is going to spoil, consider who you’ll vote for in NOvember.

Back in the mid to late ’90’s we had a hot holiday.

Temps reached into the 100’s just like predictions today.

We didn’t have the computers and internet then as we have today.

And still we all survived.

Climate Change! Climate Change! OMG, I’m feeling verklempt!
The only answer is to spend billions on stuff that hasn’t been properly researched, perfected, or tested. We can’t wait, we must spend now!
Naturally, give the politicians adequate time to do their securities transactions.

I’ve always wondered how “verklempt” was spelled.

Yes, Thanx Fearless Spectator.
We should all endeavor to blend more Yiddish into our vocabulary….
for some reason or other.
