There is a certain demograph that refuses to wear a seat belt, ive noticed from many fatal accident rerports. They won’t wear it because it goes along with the mindset “I won’t be told what to do.”
Be defiant all you want.
How’s that working out for you?

Sometimes people get exhausted & just fall asleep at the wheel.
I did it once, but I was stopped in traffic & woke up alone… foot still on the brake.

I’ve done it, too.
I went fishing out north of the Farallon Islands and the wind was blowing hard all day. It exhausted me.
On the way home (about 4 p.m.), I fell asleep at several stop-lights coming up Ashby Avenue, waking up each time when the cars behind began honking.

I’ve also had seatbelts pop loose when I accidentally knocked them with something, only realising it later. I feel sorry for the family.

If a seatbelt could “pop loose’ it would just be decoration..
A car company would owe millions in a provable death due to seat belt failure.
They crash every car with dummies..
So does the public.

Not asleep. Definitely not wearing a seatbelt. James is quite right on this one.

No bullet in the head? That’s kind of a Highway 4 thing.
