Air District Funds Solar-Powered Surveillance Stations, Light Towers

A smart solar generator provider received a multi-million dollar loan guarantee from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District on Monday to offer clean surveillance stations and mobile light towers.

Traditionally used in construction sites and other places that do not have access to electricity, King Solarman’s products provide solar-powered, off-grid lights, as well as sound and video surveillance footage that is stored in a cloud and accessible for viewing in real-time. The security units also send notifications to property owners when it detects unusual activity.

“Equipment that runs on renewable energy is a smart alternative to fossil fuel-powered generators that deteriorate air quality and emit greenhouse gases,” stated Veronica Eady, senior deputy executive officer of policy and equity at the air district. “We are excited to support the use of technologies that provide practical alternatives to outdated systems, that are good for the climate and that reduce harmful emissions in our air.”

The loan is a part of the air district’s initiative to fund projects that significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, labeled the Climate Tech Finance Program. Backed by the California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank and the Northern California Financial Development Corporation, air district members analyzed how King Solarman’s technology will impact emissions and social equity.

The air district said that King Solarman products have the potential to remove up to 688 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year in the state.

If we replace California’s politicians, we can eliminate just as much CO2 as well as a lot of hot air. That would easily reduce the climate change issue in California…

Nonsense.

Follow the money and see who got the campaign contributions.

Frank, you are certainly right about that, and who is Solarman.

Hmmm where have I heard this scam before?

That’s not the districts money, that your money and my money in the form of tax dollars.

Don’t let these crooked (expletive deleted) fool you.

Straight from Asia. They get their products worldwide. Too hard to find an American product I guess.

A “senior deputy executive officer of policy and equity?”

Time to slash their budget!

It seems the evidence is accumulating that that solar is not worth it and needs to get subsidized with taxpayer provided money. I suspect construction contractors will also be able to claim a tax credit of some sort for using “green” equipment.

Two words: Equity and Surveillance.

“The air district said that King Solarman products have the potential to remove up to 688 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year in the state.”

And how exactly are they going to do that? Do they have some kind of air filter that removes CO2?

Wait, surveillance? Did they say where these surveillance devices will be placed and why? Didn’t think so.

I find it amusing that the greenies seem to know what the proper amount of CO2 in the atmosphere should be.

@OG….

Nah, they’ll pull a page from the California EDD playbook and talk a good story.

Nothing will be done.

Sure that isn’t Ontario Canada? Website has “.cn” as a url.

Concord Mike, Canada is CA … same as Calif. Cn is Spy King… China. ;

The name of the company alone is a red flag.
Was the loan actually underwritten?
I know, how dare I ask a reasonable question.

Loaning our money to someone with any accountability. What are the objectives of the initiative and where do we see the progress published along with the loan payback schedule. I can dream…

Solyndra without the same level of oversight. Selling them short!

QUESTION: Why would the Air Quality mafia guarantee a loan to a company mired in huge financial/bankruptcy legal proceedings… in the same “Matter” as the Carpoff/DC Solar Fraud?
Carpoffs, Paulette and Jeff DOIN’ TIME!!!

One good thing in California~~ information is easy to find.
For instance: Business License information.
https://bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov/search/business ~~ [king solarman]
and …
Legal Proceedings
LOVATO v. KING SOLARMAN, INC. et al

This loan will no doubt come in handy when Solarman’s Agent CHIANG LIAN CUNG (just call him Michael) appears in court in a few days for their involvement in the legal battle that just put the Fraudster DC Solar folks in prison for … 8 years, was it?
Same attorney, Same Judge that whacked Paulette and Jeff Carpoff for Fraud… are after their cohort–King Solarman too…. More News should be available after 8/11/22
Someone at Air Quality… greasy palm.

CLAYCORD should take a second look at this one! Keep the file handy.
