The following is from the Walnut Creek Police Dept.:
On July 30, at about 10:02 a.m., Walnut Creek Police Dispatch received a call from employees at Apple advising that three subjects were in the store stealing multiple products.
The suspects fled the store after being inside for only two minutes. The suspects fled on foot to two cars that were waiting for them only a few blocks away. An alert witness was able to obtain the license plate info of one of the vehicles and a description of the other vehicle. WCPD Officers sent out a Be On The Lookout (BOLO) to other agencies with the vehicle information.
WCPD would like to thank the alert citizen who provided valuable information and the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department for their diligent work in this case. Not only was stolen property recovered, but loaded guns were taken off of the street and the suspects were arrested.
Claycord note: The names of the suspects were not released.
They’ll be out by tomorrow
Becton be on it.
Let’s hope not. Search their homes for more stolen property. When the police get notice of these thefts why don’t they cover all of the exits for the city. There are only a few ways out that thieves from out of town would take.
Trust me on this….. I heard VOTE Mary Knox and she will prosecute these criminals 😂
Cheap bullets, bammer shake and stolen iphones. Have some self respect man. That’s just sad. Please tell me you weren’t wearing black air force 1s.
good job LE …. Becton have them out yet so they so they’re not too inconvenienced?
Well if they stole ‘out of need’, in our DA Becton said she will not prosecute.
And if this economy gets any worse I may have to turn to that profession, and I guess I’ll be safe because I’ll be stealing ‘out of need’.
Something tells me that race is connected with that qualification. Unfortunately I’m white, so I guess I would go to jail.
@Badge1104
That qualification will be applied to promote “equity” so in other words, yes absolutely race is connected. Crazy, absurd times we are living in today.
Police let their guard down after being outsdie evryday for a long time.
Parking an empty Police vehicle outside is worthless.
Apple should close down or move nect to City Hall.. Too much crime for shoppers in the heart of Walnut Creek.
What’s odd is that we went to Walnut Creek to have coffee at that exact time at Broadway plaza. And last month when we went is when the Macy’s smash and grab happened around the same time Saturday morning.
I’m not feeling so good about Walnut Creek anymore
I agree. Can’t wear jewelry when out and about either or we are mugger rmagnets…
@ Badge-
So you’re always there when crime happens? Kind of like Karl Malden whenever American Express travelers checks disappeared. It makes me wonder…
+1 Badge 1104 – a lot of us feel that way about WC now…. more people avoiding shopping downtown due to crime, traffic, and parking… not worth it .. too many alternatives
RANDY,
YOU FORGOT TOO OVERPRICED!
Lol, “their names were not released”…….but the individuals have probably already been released.

Thank you to the alert citizen who took down the information. Not sure how the citizen knew to do this but considering the crooks were armed made it somewhat risky.
Too much Rag Weed
I hope they report whether these folks get prosecuted and if so what is their sentence.
It seems like these 33 round Glock magazines have turned up in a lot of our recent busts. Proof that magazine bans don’t work.
They were probably felons with guns.
Yes, and I’m willing to bet they were also Democrats with guns.
Open the streets back up to cars at Broadway Plaza. I’m not concerned about the retail store thefts. We have Becton to prosecute them and VOTE don’t forget to vote for Mary Knocks as crime will decrease LOL
The arrested adults names are listed with same story on News 680/24
No names or suspect descriptions released. Hmmmm
Were the Apple or Nordstrom dedicated officers on duty at the time?

Shotguns and rubber pellets will teach these juicebag gang bangers a lesson they won’t soon forget.
Wish people would remember there are workers/real human beings who are terrorized by the repeated armed robberies at the Apple Store, not just loss of property to them. They are suffering, some with PTSD. There are human victims, not just corporate victims, of armed robberies.
