To help keep customers and communities safe in the face of the growing wildfire risk across the state, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) is continuing to evolve its wildfire safety program to reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfires.
As part of these efforts, PG&E is hosting a Safety Town Hall for Contra Costa County residents on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from noon to 1:30 p.m. to share its wildfire prevention plans for 2022 and listen to customer feedback.
PG&E experts will provide a brief presentation, after which participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.

I’d prefer to talk about PG&E’s price gouging and the ridiculous bonuses paid to the CEO and management by a company that is so poorly managed.

That sounds a lot like hate speech. That’s why all questions should be pre approved.

why do you think it’s a virtual meeting?
So,they can kick you out with a press of a key when you bring up stuff that really matters…

Despite great efforts to conserve wherever we can if I get this bill on a Friday I am not opening it until Monday. I don’t want my weekend ruined.
Yes not to mention them having a safety meeting when they cut power and ppl lose food, meds, fall down in the dark, burn up in the heat, can’t afford to buy more food, can’t charge phones..Yah, they’re good at safety and huge gas and electric bills.
I wish they’d zoom it so I can were a Smokey Bear costume and disrupt the meeting.
Needs a new motto: PG&E – Only we can start forest fires
As always, the discussion here about PG&E is completely unfair and distorted. I am related to PG&E workers and they try really hard. Sure, they live in much nicer and much more expensive houses than you do but they deserve it because they were smart enough to dump their PG&E stock before it crashed, or maybe they had insider information, whatever. They are under a lot of stress from burning down whole cities and need emotional compensation with better cars and iPhones. I bet they are on a first name basis with the sales people at Apple which is good to have friends.
I used to know someone that worked for pge and they said they got a 25% discount on their pge bill. Always wondered if they got a 1099 for the discount.
