This is an update to the carjacking in Concord we first reported on yesterday.
The following is from the Concord Police Dept.:
Yesterday afternoon, Concord PD Officers were dispatched to a carjacking that had just occurred in the downtown area of Concord.
Multiple Concord Police Officers responded and determined three males assaulted a female driver and took her vehicle. A “Be on the Lookout” was issued to allied law enforcement agencies. Using video surveillance, a suspect was viewed being left behind by his accomplices and was still possibly in the area.
Within minutes, a Concord Police Officer saw a subject matching the description nearby and detained the male. The subject was positively identified as being one of the three suspects.
A few hours later, the Palo Alto Police Department contacted Concord PD and advised they had located the vehicle and had two suspects in custody.
Concord Police Officers responded to Palo Alto and took custody of the suspects and the victim responded to get her vehicle. One of the suspects was in possession of the victim’s personal items.
All three suspects were booked at the Concord Police Department Jail and later transported to the Martinez Detention Facility for Carjacking (Penal Code 215) and Conspiracy to commit a felony (PC182).

Great work law enforcement!
Let’s see now if our DA doesn’t just turn them loose because maybe they were just “stealing out of need” and she said she won’t prosecute for that.
… 5 cents says they’re out by Monday – can’t let them miss the holiday you know. (sarc)
Why are we not releasing the names and address of these arrested in this crime and any others? We as a country seem to be ok with releasing the names and addresses of gun owners and Supreme Court judges oh and police officers information. That the democrats way you vote for
I would waterboard him until he gave up the names of his fellow criminals. That’s the way we should operate. None of this nansy pansy garbage.
That is if they hadn’t caught the others already.
Ricardoh,
Nah, waterboard them just ‘cuz… 😉
Just threaten to throw them in the pool. They probably can’t swim.
No need to release the names… The district attorney won’t prosecute them.
Now we’ve got criminals coming to CoCo county to do crimes, . . . .
Guess the word MUST BE OUT ! ! ! !
Can hardly wait for press releases using buzz words like “equitable”, “equality” and unequal incarceration rate of persons of color . . . .

Original G That was an eye-opening video, excellent points.
cnn commentator in an unusual moment of candor in 2014 said,
“In order for the Democrats to win the White House they don’t have to get 50 percent of the black vote or 60, or 70, or 80, or 90, Democrats in order to win historically need 90 to 92 percent of the black vote. If only 70 percent don’t like Donald Trump, that means 30 percent are open to his argument.
If he gets half of those, he’s president.” –van jones
“Let this sink in slowly. Ensuring that Democrats continue to receive black votes in a monolithic block, it is in their interest for blacks to remain poor and resentful, which is why agitators like Jones work overtime to keep racism alive and boiling. If blacks in larger numbers entered the middle class, more of them would likely start voting Republican. No wonder the left makes sure to reinforce the idea that your skin color or ethnicity should determine your ideology and your vote, and why dissenters like Clarence Thomas are demonized. It’s rare to see this implicitly acknowledged. Jones is right to be scared.”

Promoting and reinforcing envy, anger and resentment by DEM propagandist media all in an effort to get out the black voter block for DEMs.
A waste of time and effort because they will just turn them loose.
Thank you all police officers involved. You’re amazing. ❤️💙
This equity thing seems like it gets a little more dangerous each day.
Shocking.
Nice work by CPD and Palo Alto, let’s see if they do any time with Becton making the call.

I think that’s one of the reasons we don’t have names. If we know the names we can follow up and see that they were released and/or got low/no sentence.
Or perhaps the names betray an indicative that doesn’t fit a narrative.
Names not released? are they juveniles? Or did they snitch on someone else? Are they related to someone of importance?
You can bet the perps will be released before their names. I can’t tell if California is Animal Farm or the Upside Down (you’d have to watch Stranger Things to understand this one).
