Contra Costa County Public Works will be performing geotechnical borings in preparation for a future project on Morgan Territory Road.

Borings will be taken in the vicinity of the bridges located 5.0 miles and 5.2 miles from the intersection of Morgan Territory Road and Marsh Creek Road. The work is scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, 2022, through Friday, July 15, 2022, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Work will occur between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm., weather permitting.

Signs will be placed in advance to advise drivers of upcoming work.

For my own edification.

Why would the county conduct geotechnical borings in the Morgan Territory and Marsh Creek areas?

Because another Mark Desaulnier meetimg isnt boring enough.

To determine the interfaith of the soil for any loading that will go there. Weight of a bridge, road, pedestrian trail, retaining wall….

Muchas gracias JK

I wonder what the future project will be. A new bridge? A new Seeno mansion?

I am guessing that the seeno empire wants to plant a bunch more homes on a slope or hilly area.

Of course it begs the question – what is the future project? Anybody know?

BORRRRRR-INNNNNNNG !!!
