Wow, totaled dad’s car and got popped for a DUI. That’s about $35K for your night out (plus your insurance company hates you right now).

True, but if the driver was aiming for the pole, the targeting solution was spot on!

Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.

… if they had insurance… gee… wonder why no name or picture was released… oh yeah

🤦🏼‍♀️ Good job dumba** !!

I’m waiting for Mark Desaulnier to announce a virtual town hall on the subject, and call for money, studies, and more pole watchers

Well, that left a mark.
An how about that, complimentary tooth picks.

Nothing good happens after midnight.

Open Borders

Looks like a fairly new Pick Up Truck to me.

.
The power pole swerved in front of the driver.
.

I don’t think that will buff out.

I’ll bet he was aiming for a fire hydrant.

Pitiful driver and pitifully useless bumper. If convicted of DUI, the moron behind the wheel should be limited to a tricycle or pedal car!

“Officer the pole was swerving all over the road before I hit it!”

With the ongoing global supply chain issues and parts shortage, getting a ride back on the road might be a problem. Good luck with it.

What a waste of a nice-looking truck.

Meh. The truck may have looked nice but it has a three-valve, 5.4 liter engine which is notorious for spark plugs breaking and getting stuck in the cylinder head.

And sometimes the spark plugs strip their threads and the spark plug shoots out of the head!

It didn’t do the phone pole a whole lot of good either.

One DUI. That’s more than the CPD normally gets and that’s after spending $$$ on the cost of to operate a checkpoint…

That truck has a busted nose

“My Dads a TV repairman, he’s got the ultimate set of tools. We can fix the car “.

+1 fast times

No picture and no name . Why?

That is the 3rd time in less than a month that a reported driver hit a telephone or utility pole in Concord.

I have no sympathy for people who are doing this. People have choices when they chose to drive like fools they deserve the outcome.

Take their licenses away, no matter what the lamo excuse is, they are a menace to us who obey the laws and stop this type of behaviour.

Becton will say oh they were having a bad day. These types of accidents are causing all of our insurance rates to go up as we all are affected by the “shared risk”. If you don’t give a darn about yourself think of others you could have injured or killed.
