And the progressives start to learn about economy.

Then they wouldn’t be progressives

In an Uber now going from North Concord to Landana area. Price seems normal about $7.50. Other option is $8.50 for Uber green which I think is a hybrid it looks like I’m not sure I don’t ride Uber too often. I got picked up by a hybrid Prius anyways.

Get a ride from a friend.
BOYCOTT GREEDY PEOPLE!

An Uber driver told me that they used to take 25% of her fares now they take 50%. That’s not fair to their drivers!

I’ve found that the rideshare companies are no longer an economically advantageous alternative to the local taxis.

Uber and Lyft have become as unreliable and expensive as taxis leaving the bus as the only affordable local transportation, even with its infrequent service.

A thumbnail analysis has led me to believe that, when managed properly, deliveries are the most economical means of supplying household needs for me today.

Walking, though more dangerous, is an acceptable alternative to rideshare for less time sensitive adventures.

Rides were only cheap because they were subsidized by venture capitalist funding to build the business model up to scale.

The rates will only go up once they put the remaining taxicab companies out of business, and that may come sooner than you think.

So, Uber charges an additional fee to help with high gasoline prices, but the driver only sees it if he completes enough rides. I’ll go out on a limb and assume few drivers will make the cut and the majority of that extra money will go to Uber even though the driver buys the gasoline. I’ll also assume Uber is dong this because ridership is down (profits are down) and/or the high cost of gasoline is causing drivers to refuse to take certain rides. Perhaps short rides?

Also, Ro Khanna’s a left-wing idiot. It’s amazing how many of those first generation Indians are leftists, considering their parents immigrated to the US because of the wealth and opportunities provided by capitalism.

you for forgot narcissists and not too bright. They never think ahead to the future or consequences of their actions.

Today the Wall Street Journal published a piece suggesting that inflation may be affecting people of color more than caucasians. It will likely be flagged as disinformation.

Also today, Kevin Kiley’s bill to repeal the 51 cent gas tax was shot down. He published the voting stats, and its pretty clear most Democrat politicians voted to keep the tax. Its likely they would be in favor of surcharges also. They also vote against gig income.

It’s interested they vote to screw the citizens including people of color, over and over yet they somehow stay in office.
