Authorities are chasing a white Honda Fit that was carjacked this afternoon.

The pursuit started outside of Concord, and the driver exited on Willow Pass Rd. in Concord.

The pursuit was stopped when the driver started driving the wrong way on Willow Pass Rd. near Parkside Drive.

UPDATE: This was a carjacking from the MacArthur BART station in Oakland. The suspect is a black male, about 19-years-old.

Guess he was trying to get back to Pittsburg in a hurry.

Who wants to bet he’s a felon on parole or an early release?

Being soft on crime does not work.

It’s another failure of the government.

+1 ..and when caught will be out in less than a day

And the liberal democrat politicians and their supporters believe that criminals are better off being out of prisons and jails.

This is why I will not vote for one Democrat this next election cycle! Not even for dog catcher!

Rather than break off the chase when the felon started driving the wrong way, he should have been terminated immediately. And this is why Ukraine is in trouble. Our leader have no b@lls.

+1 !!!

They evidently don’t have a helicopter or enough cars to cover an area.

Out run a cop car with a Honda fit ! Sounds like someone needs training instead of more tax dollars

This is how to convey:

Any vehicle, at all, will do.

Concord officers terminated the chase, when they determined that they just couldn’t catch up with Honda’s slowest economy car, with a top speed of 115MPH.

Back in my day, the vehicle would not have been able to outrun 1200fps.

I see what you did there…The Grant abides…

Stop coodling these creeps, thieves and crooks. Get hard on crime that will be a wake up call that is way late.
