Temps Expected To Drop In The Bay Area

by CLAYCORD.com
29 comments

The springlike weather that the Bay Area and northern California have enjoyed for the last few weeks is about to end as early as Monday, according to the National Weather Service, as an arctic cold front puts most of the country into a deep freeze.

The Bay Area forecast calls for temperatures to start cooling Sunday with a rapid change in the weather by Monday or Tuesday.

On Monday, a dry cold front will bring cooler air to the Bay Area with blustery winds by Monday evening.

Lows on Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be 39 in San Francisco, 33 in San Jose and 30 in Concord.

The region may experience a chance of showers by Tuesday morning with snow levels down to the 2,000-foot level.

Sure. Because climate change. Most of the country going into a deep freezer? Why do they act like temperatures don’t go up and down? And what is “most of the country”? I was looking at the pollen count the other day on weather underground or weather channel and noticed it was sponsored by the WHO. The world health organization has now infiltrated our local weather report. Trump pulled us out of the WHO for good reason. There’s zero evidence of man made climate change. Just another way to control things, just like COVID HOAX.

Reality Check February 20, 2022 - 12:58 PM - 12:58 PM

Zero evidence of man-made climate change? Scientists have been documenting hard, confirmed evidence for decades. The fact that you’re conflating “weather” and “climate” speaks volumes.

SAM February 20, 2022 - 2:13 PM - 2:13 PM

Yeah…political scientists. Just like COVID HOAX. Matter of fact probably the same “scientists” with political agendas.

I’m not the one who conflates climate with weather every time the temperature changes or we get less or more rain one year.

ZERO ACTUAL EVIDENCE OF MAN MADE CLIMATE CHANGE. ZERO

Oh, please February 20, 2022 - 9:03 PM - 9:03 PM

“Reality”- Yeah, the climate changes. We have ice ages in history. Duh. What evidence is there that people are causing it rather than the natural course of the earth? I mean they SAY it is man-made. But, is it really? Ir, are they using that to get the public approval to spend, and thus pocket, more of our taxes?

Doh February 21, 2022 - 8:30 AM - 8:30 AM

If you really want evidence that people are causing climate change I suggest you read some of the many articles that have been written about it. They are written by scientists and explain why.

SAM February 21, 2022 - 12:36 PM - 12:36 PM

Not interested in what government scientists like fauci have to say. Thanks. Political science ain’t science

Dawg February 20, 2022 - 8:56 AM - 8:56 AM

There’s even a little rain expected on Tuesday.

Captain Bebops February 20, 2022 - 10:13 AM - 10:13 AM

So this is on the menu from the geoengineers. Ever notice that when they started hyping up “drought” again rain seems to creep in. I’m all for rain just not extra cold weather.

Well Folks February 20, 2022 - 5:32 PM - 5:32 PM

Unless there is are several more significant storms that drop feet of snow in the Sierra between now and April 1st the current snow pack will only measure, at best, 50% of normal. Last year it was only 58% of normal and it was in that range the year before
So yes there is a drought as most of the water YOU count on comes from the snow pack that is shared with northern Nevada. Yes people in northern NV understand this way better than people in the bay area do.

Chicken Little February 21, 2022 - 9:22 AM - 9:22 AM

If the annual rainfall, snow pack, etc. are consistently way below normal, maybe it’s time to reevaluate what “normal” is.

OMG!

Quick! Pass a tax based on the temperature!

You know, “for our safety”!

Bring it on!

ClayDen February 20, 2022 - 1:20 PM - 1:20 PM

This is known as winter in the Bay Area.

To make it political : The winter of our discontent

Cellophane February 20, 2022 - 3:05 PM - 3:05 PM

This little chilly episode is nothing compared to what’s going on in the midwest.

Sure, we can complain, it’s about all we can do about the weather.

For those of us in the Claycord region, who amongst us has shoveled a sidewalk here recently, or ever.

We may have a little frost on our cars but never an inch of ice below a foot of snow.

For many of us, the weather is why we live here.

I am a native but I have lived all over the world and yet here I am, close to Suisun Bay, Richmond Bay, and the Pacific Ocean.

A short drive to the tallest Mountain around here and 90 min from a Ski Resort.

I can Ski all morning and then dine by the Ocean anytime I want.

This is a wondrous place to live.

As for the global warming BS, don’t buy into it. The Government cannot change the weather. No man can. Save your money.

Weather is cyclical. Don’t let any politician tell you any different.

Sure we need to cut back on pollution. But there is no reason to tax the people to death for nothing anyone can control.

Enjoy the cool weather, It’ll probably be a hot summer, just like it was about 20 years ago, and 20 years before that…

nytemuvr February 20, 2022 - 4:33 PM - 4:33 PM

@Cellophane….But, but, but…what about all the chemtrails from jets being dropped on us. If it’s not the Government then who’s doing it…. Tin foil covered enquiring minds would like to know.

Badge1104 February 20, 2022 - 4:04 PM - 4:04 PM

Yep, folks this is our normal climate pattern in California! It is February and we’re still going to get rain, probably lots in March. Every February has always had that little spring stretch in the middle of it too. Normal stuff. I have to laugh did all the climate scientists and feeble-minded liberals love to scream climate change. It’s cycles folks cycles and I don’t worry one iota about it. The rest of you can get ulcers if you want.

Tim February 20, 2022 - 5:14 PM - 5:14 PM

Temperatures have a tendency to fluctuate.

Dorothy February 20, 2022 - 6:15 PM - 6:15 PM

I’ll believe in showers outside the house when I see it. Rain dancers seem to be on strike.

S February 20, 2022 - 7:16 PM - 7:16 PM

Silly you, Dorothy…

My people didn’t do it for the rain, but to wash away the evil spirits…

With all the evil about these days, I guess I better get to dancin’

Thanks for the clip

whatever February 20, 2022 - 8:08 PM - 8:08 PM

Our country suffers from the ‘climate change’ crazies and their grift while emerging economies around the world belch pollutants into the air without a second thought. If you’ve never travelled abroad and seen what other countries are doing, you would have no way to know that the taxpayers in the US are the world’s suckers when it comes to so called green energy.

It’s a financial scam perpetrated on us by the ‘smarties’ in charge, and too many are too happy to give their hard earned money to feel enlightened and ‘on the right side of history’.

Where’s Mr. Gore? Aren’t we all supposed to be floating on the last iceberg by now? Does it make you wonder why Obama and Pelosi bought multi-million dollar mansions on the waterfront…when oceans are supposed to rise in the next 10 years? Obama has 2 multi-million dollar waterfront properties, wouldn’t you expect him to at least have one on a hill somewhere to retreat to in an emergency? Nope, he knows that climate fanaticism is just another way to separate billions from suckers like us.

Yeah, we shouldn’t pollute our earth, but to think we have anything to do with normal cycles the earth goes through is stupid. Remember how hairspray caused irreparable holes in the ozone and we were all going to roast? ha.

Dr Jellyfinger February 20, 2022 - 9:43 PM - 9:43 PM

“Global Warming” didn’t work so they had to rename it “Climate Change” to cover all the bases… hot or cold !

nytemuvr February 20, 2022 - 11:50 PM - 11:50 PM

@Dr Jellyfinger…. I like “Climate Emergency”, more better overlydramatic.

Antler February 20, 2022 - 11:07 PM - 11:07 PM

My hummingbird friends have been chugging their sugar water all day long; that’s the best indicator I ever have that the temperature really IS going to drop quite low. I’ll make sure all 7 feeders are topped off tomorrow morning, bring the feeders inside overnight, repeat…..

Definitely I’m hoping that the Sierras and NV get more rain/snow than is being forecast for them, Well Folks. Please be careful walking on those slippery slopes, okay?

nytemuvr February 21, 2022 - 12:14 AM - 12:14 AM

@Antler…I’ve noticed the hummingbird thing too over the years. Never sure if it coincides with coming cold or not, but I do seem to get all four spigots occupied at once on my one feeder. It does make sense, but then I’m not a hummingbird.

Jojo The Circus Clown February 21, 2022 - 1:44 AM - 1:44 AM
