C. 3-6 months from now

I’m predicting an August 15th return, unfortunately. That would be right before school starts. I think it will not apply to gyms or places of worship this time around.

Dorothy February 16, 2022 - 12:21 PM - 12:21 PM

Only some have been lifted so actually they haven’t been fully lifted yet. I see no set timeline for fully lifted masked mandates. So maybe never?

Roz February 16, 2022 - 1:31 PM - 1:31 PM

@ Dorothy~
Good Point!

Answer D. 6 months.
Our Democrat leaders will bring it back in time for the midterm elections… Using a surge in the fall to justify it, and allowing all mail-in ballots again (and without identification proof)

PESFG February 16, 2022 - 6:55 PM - 6:55 PM

I was under the impression that Lord Newscum signed a bill making mail-in ballots permanent. Effective January of this year, who knew!?

B ….another variant will be coming soon I bet

JonForTheWin February 16, 2022 - 12:33 PM - 12:33 PM

given that ample studies showed masks didnt make a difference, then never. Now if people wish to use them, they should have N95 and learn to do so properly. Enough of this virtue signaling.

I figure in a week or so following the super bowl surge.

whatever February 16, 2022 - 12:58 PM - 12:58 PM

soon after the midterms, so I’m thinking there will be a winter surge that will kill tens of people nationwide.

Sancho Panza February 16, 2022 - 1:03 PM - 1:03 PM

We shan’t wear them ever again unless another virus is so lethal that the government will issue an abundance of N95’s to each and every citizen…

Dawg February 16, 2022 - 1:14 PM - 1:14 PM

1-3 months from now, when the Left realize they run the risk of losing control over the public. They will dream up another variant, which will be hyped up by the media, and the frightened, intimidated, gullible, and naive will obey without question. If anybody does pose a question, the Left will respond by calling them racist, white supremacist, and domestic terrorists.

Mask Free Mondays anyone …?

Let’s get it rolling via social media, memes, NFTs …

Good place to start the pushback against these creepazoids

BOB February 16, 2022 - 1:31 PM - 1:31 PM

Right after the midterm vote.

… right before the midterms because of “science”.

Badge, I would agree with the 6 months except that their a election in November and Newsom is up for re-election, and I don’t think he will take that chance.

Captain Bebops February 16, 2022 - 3:14 PM - 3:14 PM

Never except for something actually dangerous. I already had a box N95 masks due to the 2018 fires but I found them too stuffy for the plannedemic and went with nuisance masks which for a while were hard to get because companies had donated them to medical workers which is sort of an endorsement of their efficacy. They’re stuffy too but not as bad as N95s.

I think they know by now they can’t fool us again. They’ll try something else but it won’t work either so they’ll wait another 80 years.

Cellophane February 16, 2022 - 4:27 PM - 4:27 PM

A

In my book all covid restrictions are nonsense.

I’ve called this farce a power grab for over two years now and nothing has happened to change my mind.

I believe only the weak and gullible have bought into this baloney.

I’m not saying covid doesn’t exist and I’m not saying people haven’t died.

I am saying that more effective and prudent measures would have saved millions of lives and kept the tyrants in the closet.

The government fails at everything it does.

It failed all of us with its greed for power during this covid menace.

Now, the government has the power, and the people suffer more than ever before.

Dawg February 16, 2022 - 7:24 PM - 7:24 PM

Agree 100%.

Anon February 16, 2022 - 5:44 PM - 5:44 PM

1 – 3 months.
And most likely by next Fall.
We still have: Marburg, Smallpox, SPARS, & HIV being the next big thing.

Cellophane February 16, 2022 - 6:01 PM - 6:01 PM

BTW,

the next mandate will require everyone to wear one of the free masks they are giving away these days.

Stock up while you can.

Like everything else, there will be a shortage.

PESFG February 16, 2022 - 7:01 PM - 7:01 PM

The masks enforcement hasn’t been fully lifted as someone previously pointed out. Now, my question is not when are mask mandates lifted for good but rather, when are we going to find ourselves sheltering in place again and for how long?

Jay Roller February 16, 2022 - 7:11 PM - 7:11 PM

It will never return for me!! The county health order has exemptions listed and you’re damn sure I claim to have one!

Tugboat February 17, 2022 - 7:01 AM - 7:01 AM

If we allow the State and County to bring back masking, we deserve to be serfs. Never fall for this again. Resist.

Pookie February 17, 2022 - 8:15 AM - 8:15 AM

A) Never…. The people wont be having it this time. This Covid BS is done and more and more people are becoming aware what this really is.

Concord Guy February 17, 2022 - 1:49 PM - 1:49 PM

1-3 months. Yesterday in my office building a woman got on my elevator car without a mask. Today at Cinco de Mayo on Concord Blvd (a store with close quarters) a woman marches in and orders her food, then waits five minutes for it to be prepared while maskless.

Just because the mandate has been lifted doesn’t mean the pandemic is over. It is far from over. We will see another surge due to people such as the ones I have mentioned.
