The National Weather Service reports that a warming trend is approaching that should raise high temperatures to the the low 80s by midweek in the warmest areas of the interior valleys, including Contra Costa County.

The warming trend, however, means continued dry conditions until at least mid-February, according to forecasters.

Here come my allergies. lol

Time to round up some charcoal briquettes and get the old BBQ going.

That old thing will need to burn a day or so just to get last year’s grease burned off.

And then it’s party time.

Steaks, ribs, sausages, chicken, pizza, eggs, hashbrowns, toast, coffee, all taste better when cooked outdoors.

How do you barbeque an egg?

How do you BBQ an egg?

The same way you BBQ a pancake.

Cooking something outside doesn’t make it barbeque.

Just sayin’

Cowellian speaks truth….

You can Hot Smoke both though….

Delicious…

People really can’t do anything about the weather.

The government will tax everything it can and restrict everything it can.

The government cannot stop volcanoes, the greatest contributors to global warming.

We can clean up a lot of pollutants here but if the rest of the world does nothing and all of the efforts here are useless.

So enjoy things you like while you can because the government will be banning them soon enough.

It’s probably a good idea to give trees and shrubs some water. Last year I lost some shrubs due to the drought.

Good time to check for standing water and empty it out. In warmer temperatures from egg to adult can happen in 10 12 days.

When waking outside watch for yellow jacket wasps, watch to see if they’re landing or taking off from one area in yard.

Shh…. Keep this under your hat. If the climate change alarmists get wind of this, there’s no telling what restrictions they will put on us. Above all, don’t let poor little Gretchen Thunberg find out.
On the bright side, those of us that drive a convertible love it.

Sprinklers ON…

Yes! No more freezing cold……buenas noticias para mis cajones!

Good one Dr.

Your comment brought to mind when lived in Northern MN. The windchill was -70 for several days. I was outside working to get my car started. They had to take a blow torch to the oil pan to melt the frozen oil out.

For me, CA just doesn’t get cold.

I recall when most here in the Bay Area could wear shorts all year long! 😄

Freezing cold?!
Are you serious?

Have you not been anywhere else in the country where it actually gets to freezing temperatures??

I sure hope this is sarcasm.
