We were supposed to have high winds last night, according to ABC7 news, but I detected not even a wisp of a breeze…

Good thing duck season ended Monday, those guys would be risking their lives getting out to the duck blinds on Frank’s Tract today.
It looked like the ocean.

I can attest to the gusts of up to 60 mph on Mt.Diablo. My husband and I are currently camping (thankfully in a trailer) and the wind is whipping up here!!! I went to the top this morning to watch the sunrise and it was hard staying upright.

Our deep baritone wind chime did “sing” to us off and on during the night, and it hangs from a magnolia tree from a branch protected by the house from all except North and/or Northwest winds. It has seemed so cold at night to me this week…… but nothing like the 11° low our daughter’s family in PA is experiencing, so nooooooooooooooo complaints here.
Be cozy out there, troopers!
