What? You don’t say.. hmm I wonder why. Us purebloods are really looking forward to the results of the experiment. Now hurry hurry and get your babies jabbed up. You know to save lives 😆. You guys are the superheroes and stuff.

this_that November 7, 2021 - 1:57 PM - 1:57 PM

I’ll gladly get the saline booster that Governor Newsom received a few days ago.

Welllllll November 7, 2021 - 2:05 PM - 2:05 PM

You need to get out more Sam.

Oh, please November 7, 2021 - 8:39 PM - 8:39 PM

Welllll- that’s the problem. Sam DOES get out. Sam can see what is actually happening. The issue is that the folks getting jabbed are NOT getting out and have no idea of the safety of just living life as normal.

Will November 7, 2021 - 1:38 PM - 1:38 PM

Good. Maybe people are finally starting to get it about the clot shots.

chuckie the troll November 7, 2021 - 2:14 PM - 2:14 PM

This is what you get when you place settled science in the hands of Big Brother. It gets revised so often that even the propaganda experts in the Liberal Media-Tech Complex can’t keep the story straight.

Either the vaccine works, and the vaccinated can live life free and unmasked, or else it doesn’t work and there is no reason to get it. Democrats have created an entire religion out of it. I, for one, have no interest in joining the Branch Covidians.

Jeff (the other one) November 7, 2021 - 8:22 PM - 8:22 PM

@Chuckie…I do believe you summed it up about as well as could be, both how the media are unable to keep their propaganda straight, as well as if the vaccine illogic preached by the same media and by career (bureaucratic) politicians.

WC Resident November 7, 2021 - 11:16 PM - 11:16 PM

@chuckie – The vaccine works but is not 100%. For every breakthrough case among the 73.40% of the county population that is vaccinated we are seeing 3.6 cases among 26.6% that is not vaccinated. That’s showing you how well the vaccine works but also shows it’s not 100%.

A side benefit is that vaccinated people who get infected are less likely to end up in the hospital.

It’s like driving a car. Despite the shielding offered by the car body, defensive driving, airbags, wearing seatbelts, etc. people still suffer serious injuries and are killed in collisions. Should we refuse to use cars or refuse to buckle-up due to this failure?

Chicken Little November 8, 2021 - 10:39 AM - 10:39 AM

@ Water Closet Resident,
To continue with your analogy, wgy stop at seat belts? Why not require all cars to have NASCAR-spec cages and require all vehicle occupants to wear helmets and fire suits? I mean, it’s for our safety, right?

chuckie the troll November 8, 2021 - 11:05 AM - 11:05 AM

WC-
I have seen no information on the side effects from all of these mandates. How many people failed to get medical treatment for non-Covid ailments until too late? How much mental illness is associated with these mandates? What about the children and their education, exercise and socialization? And the economic harm?

People are not dying in the streets here in my free state and free city. People are friendly and pleasant. Somehow or another we need to live with Xi Corona Virus without becoming members of the Branch Covidian Church.

nytemuvr November 8, 2021 - 2:51 PM - 2:51 PM

@chuckie the troll…”How much mental illness is associated with these mandates?”…. You’re responding to a charter member of the Branch Covidian Church.

Cellophane November 7, 2021 - 2:49 PM - 2:49 PM

I can’t help but wonder if some folks aren’t wising up to the charade?

I certainly hope so.

Strad November 7, 2021 - 4:33 PM - 4:33 PM

Yeah, three shots and counting.

The Masked Poster November 7, 2021 - 5:44 PM - 5:44 PM

@Strad
I get my flu shot every year, because viruses change. Haven’t had the flu in a looong time, and I’ve lived long beyond my “expiration, or sell by” date.

Dr Jellyfinger November 7, 2021 - 6:38 PM - 6:38 PM

The story keeps changing, they keep moving the goal post, baffling us with BS……. keep demanding we wear the worthless masks to remind everyone to be afraid. Enough!
Why the hell would I want a politician deciding how to handle a pandemic anyway?

Oh, please November 7, 2021 - 8:43 PM - 8:43 PM

Masked- Most people don’t even get the flu every 5 years (or more!). I haven’t had the flu in 20 years, maybe? My recent job makes me get the shot, but before that I was just fine, even working in hospitals and being around children too. The flu shot is wildly ineffective. So, the chance that it actually “prevented” anything for you is slim.

dbcoop November 8, 2021 - 6:16 AM - 6:16 AM

Masked Poster – Im in my late fifties never had a flu shot and havent had the flu in 10 or so years. i do , however take vitamin c and zinc . Gotta keep the immune system tuned . Wonder why taking care of yourself has never been touted by Fauci and crew ?

Martinezmike November 7, 2021 - 4:51 PM - 4:51 PM

Young people get heart attacks, but Biden gets fart attacks

Hill November 7, 2021 - 5:53 PM - 5:53 PM

I have talked to a few people who aren’t getting one because of issues with the first.

The Wizard November 7, 2021 - 6:46 PM - 6:46 PM

They can stick that buster up their ass.

Anew November 7, 2021 - 6:48 PM - 6:48 PM

I will not get a booster shot until In-N-Out Burger is allowed to resume indoor dining.

Anon November 7, 2021 - 8:21 PM - 8:21 PM

Ya think???

Newsollini got the booster and has been in hiding for 11 days now. Bell’s Palsey anyone???

The Fearless Spectator November 8, 2021 - 9:34 AM - 9:34 AM

Either that or transitioning………

Kauai Mike November 7, 2021 - 8:49 PM - 8:49 PM

I got mine. Wife refuses. To each their own.

The Masked Poster November 7, 2021 - 9:51 PM - 9:51 PM

A bunch of babies, afraid of a little needle, claiming all sorts of excuses for not getting a shot. Obviously none have been in the military, where you line up, get the jab, walk away and live to tell about it, while protecting yourself and others. None of this personal exemption crap, no waiting for In and Out to obey the law, yada yada. Line up, get the jab, shut up and no questions, now move on and get back to work.

Anew November 8, 2021 - 5:46 AM - 5:46 AM

@The Masked Poster. It’s interesting that you like the idea of people lining up to obey without question.

Ever since the lockdowns (and election laws that were rigged using Covid as an excuse) — Biden’s hard left hacks have been treating the public like dirt.

A writeup by Victor Davis Hanson in American Greatness reflects today’s reality: https://bit.ly/3H1JYPL

Roz November 8, 2021 - 7:06 AM - 7:06 AM

@ The Masked Poster~

Humm,…is it so much the little needle, or what’s in the little tube?
For me,….it’s the stuff in the tube that does not sit well.

I don’t get the Flu shot, since I had “The Mother of All Flus” back in 1980, and have not had a Flu since.
But I do know some people who do get the Flu Shot every year, and it helps them, since they get sick all the time from many things.
Guess it depends on a person’s immune system,….?

Janus November 8, 2021 - 9:58 AM - 9:58 AM

@ The Masked Poster

Your analogy makes absolutely no sense. I’m not in the military nor am I subject to call up and <90% of Americans will never be either.

Even in the military you can refuse vaccinations. Yes can will be consequences but you can refuse.

I guess you forgot or probably never heard that between 1998 – 2000 the Pentagon order anthrax shots and afterwards 85% reported an adverse reaction even when the manufacturer "ONLY" expected a 30% adverse reaction. Not a surprise that 16% of the respondents had either left the military or changed their status, at least in part because of the vaccination program.

What to talk about 1981 and how researchers are looking at the anthrax and/or botulinum toxoid vaccinations as being responsible for "Gulf War Syndrome'?

How about the ruling in October 2004 where the Federal Courts prohibits the Pentagon from forcing military personnel serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, South Korea, and part of Asia and Africa to get the anthrax shots without their prior consent?

You're right, all you Civilians, just suck it up like the Military for the greater good.

BORbeliever November 8, 2021 - 10:39 AM - 10:39 AM

@The Masked “shut up and no questions” Poster,

That’s the dream of every dictator, isn’t it? A willing populace who does exactly as told without asking any questions.

Chilling.

Worried November 8, 2021 - 1:58 PM - 1:58 PM

You will make a great communist what you’re saying is to hell with everyone’s rights just do what you’re told by the government wow!

Led November 8, 2021 - 2:58 PM - 2:58 PM

The military people I actually respect are the ones who don’t fantasize about applying martial law to all of society. Instead, they realize that they are making sacrifices so their fellow citizens can live with freedom.

Antler November 7, 2021 - 9:55 PM - 9:55 PM

How infantile to politicize!

The main problem for those trying to get a booster is that each pharmacy seems to be offering only ONE proprietary brand of the vaccine. It is not even consistent among pharmacies all in the same grocery or drug store chain.

Call the pharmacy first and ASK! And until the supply flow gets more efficient, be willing to make an appointment. When I heard that my nearest Safeway had the brand I needed, I went over that day within an hour of when the pharmacy hours end simply asked whether they had any extra Pfizer booster vials that day. Done!

Sam November 8, 2021 - 5:05 AM - 5:05 AM

Only one question. You got the emergency use authorization pfizer-bioNtech and not the FDA approved COMIRNATY®. Why does it matter what brand a store is offering if none are approved by FDA? They already told you that science says you can mix and match brands. You’re kinda admitting that to don’t really trust the science by worrying about what brand you “need”. If you trust the science it shouldn’t matter.

DLo November 8, 2021 - 11:13 AM - 11:13 AM

I agree Antler. Also confusing are the emails from medical providers stating they have boosters available, but it isn’t until the bottom of the email that they disclose they only have Pfizer. …But, here’s a link for information on where you may get Moderna or J&J…

Antler November 8, 2021 - 12:54 PM - 12:54 PM

Hi Sam!
I received the Pfizer approved booster, and it’s just that I prefer consistency…… no underlying philosophical reason to stay with Pfizer…. not trying to change anyone’s mind….. just giving a shot location tip: call first to make sure that whatever booster you prefer, a given location
1. HAS it
2. Can make an appointment for you. ( I just got lucky on my walk-in approach.)

Sam November 8, 2021 - 4:49 PM - 4:49 PM

So in other words you got the un-approved one. You can’t get the approved one in California. Where’s gavin newsom?

KT November 8, 2021 - 6:49 AM - 6:49 AM

And this is coming from the greatest generation. My grandparents and their friends refuse to get the booster. They are vaccinated but have seen many friends still get covid and guess what, they are still alive. They all thought that it was suppose to protect you in first place and they all know that it was a lie. My grandmother remembers when the polio vaccine came out. She told me that her parents waited 2 yrs before getting the immunization shot. My great grandparents were smart. They waited to see if it worked before giving the shot to their kids.

Chuq November 8, 2021 - 4:26 PM - 4:26 PM

Breakthrough cases do happen (quite a few) but folks who get a breakthrough case are less likely to end up in the hospital. My better half got a breakthrough case and it was quite mild (requiring zero trips to the hospital) and I was able to avoid it entirely.

The vaccines do work and while you may still get COVID the resulting illness is much easier to deal with.

Bella November 8, 2021 - 7:10 AM - 7:10 AM

I just got the ok from my Doctor to schedule mine and will.

Tired November 8, 2021 - 9:09 AM - 9:09 AM

Not enough folks getting the Booster?!

$20 says the goal posts will get moved to account for this.

Just 2 weeks to flatten the curve guys.

Don’t you realize…. The Democrats know what is best for us!
(we are such children).

ConcordRez November 8, 2021 - 4:07 PM - 4:07 PM

I want one, but not in a grocery store or drug store. The closest Kaiser offers me is in Antioch next month. “My turn” doesn’t offer any Concord choices at a medical facility.

nytemuvr November 8, 2021 - 5:32 PM - 5:32 PM

@ConcordRez….”I need a courtesy clerk for a jab on aisle 5 please, jab on aisle 5.”

Dr Jellyfinger November 8, 2021 - 4:56 PM - 4:56 PM

If all the illegal immigrants don’t need a shot then neither do I…
I’ll take the free flights and $450K but no shots for me…. Gracias!

Led November 8, 2021 - 5:11 PM - 5:11 PM

Seems pretty rational of people, imo.

It’s not really clear what the big benefit of the booster is supposed to be, unless you are in a particularly high-risk category. For everyone else this is likely to buy you a few more months of avoiding a mildly symptomatic infection. Is that worth the trouble and the potential side effects? I don’t know, maybe. Really all these booster doses should be sent to doctors and elderly people in developing countries. Kinda gross that our state is trying to force these vaccines on 5-11 year olds and pushing boosters while other parts of the world have like 2% of the population vaccinated.

BORbeliever November 8, 2021 - 5:38 PM - 5:38 PM

So rumor on social media is that Newsom had an adverse reaction to the Moderna booster. Some are saying he has Bell’s Palsy, some say it’s Guillain-Barré syndrome.

If true, it seems like his administration is trying to cover it up. Interesting considering they are just now rolling out the vaccine to children.

Anon November 9, 2021 - 11:19 AM - 11:19 AM

Unlike the pro-vaxxers who wish Death on all non-vaxxed (I can provide links), I’m wishing death on nobody, However……Newsom is responsible for millions of vax injuries due to his Ridiculous policies.
He is most likely Intubated due to the nature of GBS which temporarily paralyzes your respiratory system…..bell’s palsy would be easy to hide with a mask, GBS – not so much.

California wants to be trend setters for the rest of the Country…..Here you go – Adverse Reactions & Nothing “rare” about them.

BORbeliever November 9, 2021 - 11:45 AM - 11:45 AM

Nope, no death wishes here, unlike from the libs towards the unvaccinated.

More than likely Newsom is fine, but if he did have an adverse reaction there is no excuse for them covering it up. I won’t even get into the unequal treatment from the media. Can you imagine the speculation if DeSantis disappeared for two weeks?

Where's Gavin? November 8, 2021 - 6:02 PM - 6:02 PM

Gavin gets the booster shot live on TV. Has not been seen since.

I’ll pass.

SGJ November 9, 2021 - 11:04 AM - 11:04 AM

Maybe people are finally waking up to some real science – not the political science spread by everyone the last year and a half.
For anyone interested in actual real science here is a very interesting article with facts that are much more believable than anything you’ll hear or read from the CDC, NIH FDA or any media.
https://niapurenaturecom.wordpress.com/2020/05/03/could-retroviruses-play-a-role-in-covid-19/

JWB November 9, 2021 - 12:38 PM - 12:38 PM

Really? Where do you get this crap? Just google Judy Mikovits and you will find plenty about this fraud.
