One time I was doing work at a cell site at the Top of Mount Diablo, this was at the portable not far from the visitors center……the steel door to the portable had became infiltrated & when I opened the door there was 1000s of earwigs coming out of the top of the door. I guess the eggs were laid in the door and it was time to leave the nest!

Exit 12A you are wrong. These roaches are oriental cockroaches and are often called water bugs. They are all over the sewers in the Bay Area. You can see them scurrying around at night time on the sidewalks and lawns. If you have a crawl space, you likely have them.
If you see a roach smaller than an inch in your house then they are breeding in your house. Larger than an inch means an outside roach found a way inside.
and it uses gooey hair gel and eats up all your hard earned money

The Penniman Family Farm is to blame for bringing the roaches to the area. Packing and shipping fresh and dried fruit and nuts gave roaches their start. Have you been to Heather Farms swim center at dusk? You’ll see 100s coming out of the cracks of their clean pristine sidewalk. Homeowners are not at fault. There were a million roaches in Contra Costa a century ago. My backyard is a Starwars bar of diversity. Long ones short ones diamond ones oval ones black ones blond ones coffee ones all working together in harmony.

Bad housekeeping and lack of maintenance is why critters get into houses.
.
No sympathy!!!

Fix and clean your homes!!
Nice judgeiness. Some of us are fortunate to have a roof over our heads. May I send you my next Merry Maids and home repair bills?
Those big tree roaches are common in SE Texas, you can’t keep them out of your house.

Ricardus you are correct I was out on a walk today and they are all over the sidewalks and in the streets.
Sometimes I find them on the street just after the trash guy empties the blue and brown trash cans. I suspect the trash trucks are infected with them.
There is at least one in the CA governor’s mansion.
ROFL
That is an American cockroach they are much bigger and there is no way to get rid of them you can’t even recall them 😂
