UPATE: Pleasant Hill Police release a sketch of one suspect. (above)
Pleasant Hill police are asking the public for help finding a stabbing suspect.
The stabbing took place in the 3000 block of Putnam Boulevard at Oak Park Boulevard, according to police. The victim suffered serious injuries and is in stable condition, police said.
The victim was skateboarding in the area with two friends when the suspect drove by and threw eggs at them, according to police.
The victim threw something back at the vehicle, causing damage, police said. Three people got out of the car and chased the victim.
Police said the driver of the suspect vehicle stabbed the victim multiple times, then fled. The suspects were last seen driving southbound on Putnam Boulevard into Walnut Creek.
The suspect vehicle is described as an older model white four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla, with a sunroof and damage to the right front passenger window or the right front windshield.
The assault suspect is described as a white man, 5’8″ tall, husky build, late teens or early twenties, with short dirty blond hair.
Anyone with information about the case or who has cameras on the exterior of their home or business in the area is asked to call the Pleasant Hill police investigations unit at (925) 288-4636.
It appears they are looking for someone that looks like Lou Ferrigno….also known as The Incredible Hulk.
Sancho,
They better not mess with Lou, he is a reserve Deputy Sheriff for Los Angles County. Me, I worked with The Green Hornet. 108RS
That’s not Justin Bieber is it?
While I believe the Police will catch this miscreant I seriously doubt that the DA will prosecute.
Our DA seems to have an aversion to prosecuting anyone.
Its the new way of law enforcement doncha know.
Something tells me the DA will have no problem prosecuting this one.
I don’t know. If he is white, there is a better chance. But, if he is a poor criminal, you are right. There is no chance of prosecution.
.
Wow. It’s okay now to describe the suspect as “white”?
.
What if the suspect were a minority? Would the same standard apply?
.
Of course not
Reminds me of an old Studio C sketch https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tQByeGkJJSc
The silence from the commenters who always point out a suspect’s race is deafening…
I knew right away the suspects were white …
The POC throw rocks and bricks, not eggs!
This is so sickening. Could be any of our kids. Really hoping the victim recovers. I feel mentally this will be tough to work through.
Hope that the perps are caught soon. And then there is Karma.
Thank you for all of our first responders. We heard them going to this as we were going to bed.
5’8″ with 3″ of spiked hair so a 5’5″ fire plug dufus.
“Tony Dow”….. (and Jerry Mathers as the Beaver)
I bet this “skateboarder” will think twice about throwing stuff at cars….he kinda got what he asked for.
Although the stabber is a POS that should be locked up..but there is some kind of responsibility on both people.
Did you even read the article? Seems that you just blinding commented… Says clearly the suspect threw eggs at the skateboarder, then the skateboarder threw something back. Poor guy was minding his business then he was stabbed for giving someone something they asked for.
So…. don’t fight back?
Well that’s a hell of a solution….
No wonder you’re angry.
Did you miss the part where the people in the car started it by throwing eggs at the skateboarders?
@angry Andy-
The victim is the victim. The guys in the car started it all. And when was it ok to chase someone down and stab them for throwing something at your car after you threw stuff at them?
I hope you are being sarcastic!
The “skateboards” were just returning fire. Sounds like some one can dish it out, but can’t take it.
I agree with Angry Andy. Pick you battles. Sometimes it not worth it to fight back, and this is one of those times. The egg thrower was in a car and the other person was on foot. In his car he could have guns, knives, etc. Is it really worth it (serious injuries) if someone throws an egg? If you think so, you need to grow up.
They’re both responsible is correct. As the saying goes, it doesn’t matter who started it. Lessons learned.
@angry Andy
FYI this happens to be my family. The kids threw eggs at a girl and egged her front and her back calling her names through a sunroof. The boys involved were my son and nephew and my nephew was protecting his bestfriend. Those punk kids shouldn’t be egging people. Grow tf up. Just cause my nephew threw his skateboard at the punk car he doesn’t deserve to be stabbed. Know the situation before you speak on it.
You don’t throw a skateboard at a car, even if you were egged. Two wrongs don’t make a right. If you’re egged, you go home and wash off. Or you get the license plate, and call the police.
Throwing a skateboard could hit an innocent car. It’s sad that anyone was stabbed but retaliation wasn’t worth it. Making excuses for skateboard throwing is denial. And if you’re a parent, no comment.
These are the dumbest conversations. You shouldn’t get *stabbed* because you did something moderately foolish in the heat of the moment.
This sketch Looks like Buzz in Home Alone
A lot of stupid comments here. I could care less who started it or who retaliated. Stabbing someone and causing serious injury was definitely not warranted in this situation.
“I couldn’t care less” is the proper way to say that.
“I could care less” implies that you DO care to some degree.
“A lot of stupid comments here”
Indeed there are!
Is that Ivan Drago?
@anonymous
Thank you for posting.
So very sorry that this happened to your family.
I am hoping that soon the perp is caught.
SHAME ON ALL OF YOU who code to poke fun with stupid comments regarding this tragic offense.
Since when do we make sarcastic remarks instead of showing a little bit of empathy for the YOUNG man who felt the brunt of the scum that were driving around looking for trouble. I can’t believe that a couple of you think that this an even playing field; sharing the blame. That’s the most ridiculous comment of them all.
To ANONYMOUS: I am praying your family member will come out of this healthy. Your family has been in my heart since I first read about this. This is a Heinous act if ever there were one.
If you’re too immature to realize that you don’t throw a skateboard at someone even if you were egged, that’s your problem.
I had eggs thrown at us on Concord Blvd. when we were teenagers. We were students at El Dorado walking home from school. Even as kids we were wise enough not to throw rocks back that would’ve escalated the situation.
Very sad that we were wiser at 12 or 13 than some of you. Wise up.
