Firefighters extinguished a house fire in Walnut Creek this morning.
The single-alarm blaze on Edmund Ct. was reported at 8:22 a.m. and when firefighters arrived, half the home was already engulfed in flames, a Con Fire spokesman said.
No injuries have been reported. Five fire engines and 3 trucks responded to the fire.
Residents are asked to avoid the neighborhood, which is located near Walnut Boulevard and Sierra Drive.
