Concord Police arrested two drivers on suspicion of DUI while conducting an enforcement patrol on Friday.
Drivers charged with DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, as well as a suspended license.
Police will have extra patrols again this evening to keep up the fight against drunk and/or impaired drivers.
Funding for this DUI Patrol was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Thank goodness it’s funded by a grant. I thought taxpayers were going to have to pay for it.
Think of all the ones that got away. 😩
