The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the coast and higher elevations of the Bay Area for Wednesday and Thursday.
Sustained winds of 15-25 mph are expected — with gusts peaking at 40-50 mph at higher elevations — for most of the region, including in the North Bay, San Francisco, the Peninsula, East Bay Hills, Santa Cruz Mountains, Santa Lucia Mountains, Diablo and Gabilan Mountains.
Expected to diminish by Thursday night, the winds could raise the risk of fire in the inland areas. They could also result in potential power outages caused by falling trees and branches.
How did the weather forecasters Fail so bad in regards to this rain???
Any other time the media would be calling this a “Typhoon” and talking about it for a week. Totally missed it.
