Air travel, like driving a vehicle on a roadway is a privilege not a right; however, what happens when a person because of religious and/or medial reasons will not or cannot get vaccinated?
Now the airline or MLB has an obvious discrimination complaint on their hands under an ADA disability that prevents safe vaccination, or on religious grounds under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
I’m interested in how the ACLU will react. It would seem to be a fight right up their alley.. anyone with half a wit can see the potential for privacy abuses by our government either through legislation requiring sharing of information or the NSA, the only government agency that listens to you (pun intended).

Again, I draw your attention to the totalitarians who have seized on their opportunity to boss people around. Look no further than Pleasant Hill Baseball Association. The commissioner of the league sent out an arrogant letter this week, stating that all kids—he even noted that catchers must wear a mask, despite the fact that a mask is already a part of the catcher’s gear—observers, and EVERYONE in the parks (which is public property) must wear a mask. He has his army of “Covid Field Marshals” (that’s what he calls them) who will go around making sure everyone is covered. He’s threatened to stop games for non compliance—even if it’s just someone strolling in the park. He wrote that if if a fan doesn’t comply, they’ll have to leave. If that person wants to attend future games, they and another official of the league may have to meet with HIM “as a disciplinary issue.” I can hardly keep from laughing at the absurdity.
Here is an excerpt from the letter: “I understand there are people out there that: 1. Believe this is all political, 2. Don’t believe masks are effective (or 2% effective), 3. Say they are immune to the virus, 4. Have health issue, 5. Or just have good old fashioned political disagreements about wearing masks. But I don’t care.”
These are the kind of people who have been waiting their whole lives to be a dictator. Covid gave them their chance.

It’s a joke, those same fields are property of parks and rec. The adult softball leagues that are played on different fields and also property of Parks and Rec, have different guidelines! No masks are required when on the field, only in the dugouts. And the latter is really on the individual, not enforced, no ‘mask police’. We are adults and can make our own decisions. I have an idea, how about the feared stay home or wear a mask if they so choose. You are ‘protected’. The PHBA fields are public lands but while games are going maybe that’s their policy? I’ll probably end my time there if things don’t change, sad.
