I got my J&J vaccine today at the concord waterworld site. It was very well run, and so well staffed. It was packed, and a little delayed as far as timing, but well run…..a ton of people rolling through.
I’m so grateful and appreciate Contra Costa County for making this site available and thank you!
Contra Costa Health Dept also reached out to under served people in our community over the last several weeks. My brother, age 50, is schizophrenic diagnosed, lives in Martinez with his also mentally ill girlfriend….CCHS showed up in their neighborhood, at their home to inoculate, to deliver to our most challenged and transit challenged people – and twice, for both doses. Good job CCHS!!!!!
I’m proud of Contra Costa and their efforts. Great job!!

The county is doing a good job on vaccine delivery, for sure. Over 50% of adults (over 16) have had at least one dose. This thing is a few weeks from being effectively over in our area.

Not if our illustrious leaders can help it.

I’ve been told that it’s almost impossible to get a vaccine appointment in Contra Costa County, now.

– Don’t know who you heard that from, but the vaccine scheduling experience for both my husband Jim and I couldn’t be farther from your statement. No issues scheduling doses 1 and 2. Jim used John Muir, I used Walgreens. Quick in and out, and zero side effects from both of us. Didn’t even feel the shot.

Maybe things have changed since opening up of age groups. But our experience was beyond fantastic given our em initial expectations.

doesn’t sound like

anyone here has given way to the equity metric

you should not be proudly flaunting your experience

since most of the equity matric have no access to the site

to exercise their right to give their experience at waterworld or other injection sites

please refrain from boasting

simple statements are preferred
so as to not infringe on equity rights

posting freely is not equity compliant

so i have heard
