Well let’s see after my wife misplaced the property tax bill I paid both halves. I paid the PG&E bill that went up fifty percent. Sorry it has just been another cruddy covid week.

My PGE bill went from 105.00 to 298.00 in one month. No air, very little heater. I keep my house at 65 degrees.

I asked the question of facebook pals. One went up over one hundred and fifty dollars two just went up a few dollars. The two that only went up a couple of dollars both occupants work all day. The one whose went way up like ours are retired and home all day.

@Riccardoh
I live in an 850 sq ft condo. I dont thing my bill should be 2 bucks shy of 300.

@Overwhelmed Do you live at The Keys? Some condo units don’t have ductwork installed for heating and air conditioning and, before anything comes out of the vents to warm the living areas, it has to fill all the space above the ceiling, or between the ceiling and the unit above — or the roof, the equivalent of an attic in a house.

My condo at The Keys (one bedroom, 650 sq. ft.) was like that, and cost more to heat than my parents four-bedroom, 1800 sq. ft. rancher in Clayton.

When I was still young and dating I had a girlfriend who lived in the end apartment of the building. Every month in spite of almost walking around in the dark at night with the heat off her electric bill kept climbing. Well at the opposite end of the building lived a guy whose bill was so low he never turned anything off. The lower his bill was the warmer his apartment was. Eventually the problem was solved. Look into it.

I finally got to speak to a person and was able to achieve a registration and patient number for the Corona vaccine. Now I have to call back to find when they can make an appointment. They could not today because they did not have the second (booster) shot ready with the first one. They must be 21 days apart. Geesh.

I finally got an appointment but with a different outfit. February 11 at Safeway behind Nordstrom’s in Walnut Creek! This has taken me a month of trying to get an appointment. My Kaiser doc said
Kaiser sure got very few vaccines. I am sure that will change.

I didn’t have to wash the car, the rain washed away the paw prints on the hood. The neighbor’s cat likes to climb on the car and sit on the warm hood.
It was a slow week.

I got the majority of parts in for a new high end Remote Control Rock Crawler im building, its with a custom carbon fiber chassis made by a local guy in San Ramon, Gspeed. Im calling the truck SavageAF6x6 check out the unboxing video of the chassis, new videos to come next week, hope you enjoy.

I slooooooow-cooked up some country-style BBQ ribs and they came out great… again!
.

I made it to Friday…

I was just thinking the same thing. By God’s Grace I made it to Friday.

Same here! I think all of this strange situation, finally caught up with me this week. Realizing it is been almost a year since the lockdown and not much has change, brought a tingling sensation to my brain!

My car passed it’s smog test, and I’m going to get a sticker very soon. ♫Hallelujah!♫♪♪♪😊

Yeah!
Hope ours pass smog tomorrow,… :0

Me too!! Good luck to ya, Roz.😊

Seeing my grandkids!

When the cop asked if I knew why he pulled me over, I told him I’d have to “circle back to him on that”. He nodded, and sent me on my way.

If it works for her it should work for you!

After being pulled over doing 95 mph on the freeway
I had an CHP officer ask me how I was doing today? I said, Not so good.
He then asked why?
I replied with a chuckle. Because I am about to get a hellava speeding ticket.
He laughed and then proceeded to write me up for 78mph…
I consider this a win for the week…

@ Lovelace

He was probably grateful to you for breaking up a very boring shift.

Been cleaning kitchen cabinets. Two of them didn’t need anything tossed/donated.

Thankfully my husband received COVID Not Detected test results.

Watched my kid go to his 100th day of “in person school” this week with no issues or shutdown. I’m so happy his school got a waiver….I wish every parent was this lucky…

Rather ho-hum week, best thing that happened is one of the stocks I own went up enough to make me smile (still not enough to mean I do not have to work-that won’t happen)

.
I have several positions in AAPL below $100 per share before it split.
.
OH YEAH!
.

Nice Exit…I had some a bit above before the last split but sold it. Wish I had bought Tesla stock before their split, but I fail to see the valuation (which I guess you could say prevented me from making 5 to maybe 6 figures in a few months time).

Not watching the hypocrites on CNN, MSNBC ABC ,etc. and all the other propaganda channels the call themselves “news” outlets.

News dropped the security camera footage of the 3:30 AM ballot drop in Detroit matching the affidavits signed by workers and in Rudy Guliani’s possession. The fraud was caught on tape.

Best news of the week…now to see if the state legislature takes action.

I got a job offer!!! I’m so excited.

I’m undergoing the background check info now and should have a formal start date in a week or so.

Take that EDD!! I don’t want to rely on you EVER again.

Yee-Haa!

Got a new job elsewhere and getting outta the Bay Area soon. Wooot!

Yee-Haa for You too!

Led, we are looking forward to that day…. Who would have imagined people are looking to leave such a state with such fantastic geography and weather? To think enough citizens have elected a government that has taken the gold out of the Golden State, and have done so for a number of decades now. Congrats on the new job.

I was able to secure a reservation at The French Laundry. I will let you peasants know how it is. 2nd time doing this.

I woke up every morning.

Today went to Livermore to visit a little shop and bought a cute Boho top. 🙂

Well…made excellent progress decluttering. And…found several heirlooms and useful items.

The best thing that happened to me was i got discharged from the hospital after my second foot surgery i had ten days ago.the first surgery i had was Dec20 2021

I got a haircut yesterday. Means I can show up at work and look presentable. I have very short layered hair {pixie cut} after 8 weeks or so, it does not look good, and other than trim my bangs I cannot cut it myself. My regular hairdresser in Pleasant Hill, was booked for several weeks, so I went to Paris Beauty College on Willow Pass. Second time same young lady cut my hair, she is very good, they only charge $8.00, then I tip her $10.00, unfortunately she will be graduating soon, so will most likely go back to my regular stylist, she is very good, but the price a little different.

I tried that place once, probably close to 40 years ago. It doesn’t sound like they’ve ever raised the price. I tipped the poor guy $8 because he was so pathetic I just felt so very sorry for him, but it was really bad. I never got up the nerve to go back. Haha, I can pay a licensed professional to ignore everything I ask them to do.

I bought a Wahl hair clipper set for $25 and clip my own hair. Number 3 guard on top and Number 1 on the beard. It looks like a cheap haircut, but it’s saved me $200 in hair cut money. Easy enough to watch a YouTube video and then be brave. Tip from your uncle Noj.

Very Clever Badger…. second time our Governor will be recalled…….

Received a Marco Polo from a granddaughter and her husband that I’m to be a great grandmother again (late September)!!!

Received my first COVID vaccination and already have an appointment for the second one.

Received a Marco Polo from one of my granddaughters and her husband telling me that I’m to be a great grandmother again in late September….. their first!

Received my first COVID vaccination today and already have an appointment for the second one.

Sweet week!

I filed my taxes and we do not owe! Praise God for that!

I got the opportunity to make someone else’s day better 🙂
