Heavy rain is expected to arrive in the Bay Area late Tuesday night and last until late Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain totals with this midweek system are forecast to range from 2.5 to 4.5 inches at lower elevations, including urban areas, and from 4 to 7 inches in the hills and mountains.

Forecast said 100% chance of rain for today, up to 1/4″, yet the sidewalks were barely dampened. I trust these forecasts as much as I trust the alphabet networks and the three cable channels ‐ almost zero, and weakening week after week.
