House Fire Extinguished On Alabama Dr. In Concord (PHOTOS)

A house fire on Alabama Dr. in Concord was extinguished on Sunday morning.

The blaze apparently started in one of the bedrooms, and quickly spread to the attic, according to firefighters.

No major injuries were reported, but we’re hearing a cat died in the blaze.

The cause of the fire has not been released.

It was a power strip for a PC that shorted. Per the homeowner.

@American Citizen…..wonder if they had working smoke alarms. I just replaced all the batteries in mine. They do actually save lives.

No one was in the bedroom at the time. Family are non-smokers. The smoke detector alerted them to the fire and did help save their lives.

Stood across the street and watched the whole thing. Six fire trucks including 5 pumpers and an aerial truck showed up. Major league response.

That pic of the water being sprayed into the bedroom window is cool pic.

The water is spraying out of the window…hydraulic ventilation helps pull smoke out of the house so that firefighters can see better.
