What a waste to meet your end in a drunk driving accident. A few drinks for the road and three lives snuffed out.

But, wait, we were supposed to be staying home?

I wonder if that is more then usual

wonder how many will be plead out by the DA

who stated no jail time because of the covid

hmmm no prosecution as long as covid is around

wow seems like its ripe for corruption

as usual

Most will plea down to a Misdemeanor Reckless Operation and will be back in the roads driving impaired again very soon.

Start slapping attempted manslaughter charges on DUIs and see how many people are still willing to drive intoxicated. They know getting behind the wheel inebriated is probably gonna kill someone and yet they do it anyways.

did the breath machines escape injuries ??

Is Gavin forcing them into a car and telling them to drive too?

Those without access or are reluctant to seek mental health help often self medicate to temporarily relieve their pain or dis – ease.

Alcohol is a great solvent, it can remove walls, doors. cars, relationships, marriages and sometimes lives.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I don’t know why everyone is so damaged by legalizing marijuana when drinking destroys lives on-the-daily.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Alcohol is legal in the United States, and marijuana is illegal.
To make alcohol illegal again would require repealing the 21st Amendment. Making marijuana legal would require an act of Congress.

What does that have to do with the oddity of people feeling perfectly fine with alcohol and fearing for their lives because of the slow legalization weed? It’s barely tangentially related.

I hate Newsome as much as the next sane person, but drunk driving is no one’s fault but the drunk. Additionally, people from all walks of life are filthy drunk drivers. They certainly have access to MH services, especially poor people on Medi-cal (they get all the stuff for free). These people made this choice and the deserve to suffer DIRE consequences for it. Thus should never be a thing that happens EVER. Honestly, these people should just be put down permanently. THAT should be the consequence .

Driving while high is not a good ideal, it’s just as bad as being drunk. I also agree if high or drunk you are driving a weapon. ACLU is one org. that should be erased. Thank you Highway Patrol for keeping us safe.
