During the month of December, The Broadway Club (1342 Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek) is hosting its annual Food & Toy Drive, benefiting the residents of Contra Costa County.

Nonperishable food items, and new, unwrapped toys, can be dropped off between the hours of 11am-4pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Visitors may also take photos with a contactless Santa, or choose a “do it yourself” style Photo Booth experience for those timeless, holiday photos. There is also a “Letters to Santa” area for kids. Visits with Santa will be contactless and all visitors must wear a mask. Santa & all his North Pole helpers will also be wearing masks.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local mental health awareness groups.

“The holiday season can be a trying time; add to that our current world situation and depression/addiction is at an all time high. It is with high hopes that we can bring a smile and some holiday cheer to those in need the most,” the club said.
