Clip art offends me. Girls with their eyes closed offends me. I’m a girl and can’t blink nor close my eyes. You have no idea how this offends me please have empathy. You don’t know my struggle. I also am fearful of genies. please have some empathy for others in your community.

You do know how a flu vaccine works don’t you?
Its an injection of deactivated flu virus (aka dead) that allows your body to identify it and build antibodies against it without it wrecking havoc on your body (like what happens when you get the flu).
So basically it makes your immune system learn early and work against the virus BEFORE you get sick.
Not a cocktail of drugs, its a strain or a few strains of flu viruses in a suspension designed to keep them viable until they can be administered. Oh and most are egg based, so unless you’re allergic to eggs and get a different one, not really that artificial either.
Personal point of preference, The words cocktail, deactivated and egg offend me greatly. Please use more appropriate words that are not offensive.

Suppose we unknowingly (no symptoms) have the Covid bug in us. Should we quarantine for 2 weeks, get tested for Covid, wait a few days for the results then get the flu shot if we’re clear? Can I still get my flu shot for freeee?!
Just following what the doctor says, Don’t get a flu shot if you’re sick. It could cause complications…
About a week ago my wife and I got a shot at the drive through at Kaiser Martinez. Couple minute wait and painless. I said to the young lady that I didn’t even feel that and she asked if I wanted another one.
Do you all know they have covid testing at the Thurmond Casey library in the Creek. You can drop your ballot off there and get tested. It’s inside.

I like that….a young lady with a sense of humor. Reminded me of the time I took my son to the pumpkin farm in Brentwood. I had never been there and pulled into the police station parking lot and asked an officer if he would please give me directions. His response: “For a buck”.
While at Kaiser Shadelands yesterday, I checked and learned that they will not be doing flu shots this year. Go to Walnut Creek or the drive through at Martinez as mentioned above.
I haven’t had the flu in 15 years but I’m seldom around kids. (Kids are walking petri dishes.)
Now hold on Sparky! Did Uncle Gavin have his team of expert scientists check the validity and efficacy of this vaccine before allowing Trump to unleash it on the masses?! I refuse to take ANY Republican vaccine!!!!!
Um… this is a FLU vaccine, various companies have been making these for years and they are effective… nothing to do with politics here, just the normal preventative flu shots…

@ZZ I think you misunderstood. I am not “woke” nor do I claim to be. I am annoyed that I am a part of a generation that can’t see how good they have it and feel a need to get upset over things like clip art and forum posts…. I point out that I am hispanic because I have seen other countries (Central/South America) and the hardships they face. I simply want people to worry about their own lives and not cry about literally everything. What is my stake in this forum post? I know who made the poster, and they are not in the least bit racist. It was a simple clip art image. Not a subliminal racist message aimed at the oppression of asians.
