According to the Concord Police, the report shown above only includes approved reports. Some burglary reports might not be written or completely approved, which is why they are not included in this post.

Are the numbers so low because the DA doesn’t call them crimes any more?
I am wondering if some our many fires have been set by arsonists let out of prison?

as someone who looks somewhat regularly at these it looks about the same. maybe a few less vehicle crimes but that could be smoke or heat impacting those numbers. heck i think i heard ICE was going to hit sanctuary cities, so maybe it is that (one can only hope).

Appears people have realized futility of involving law enforcement.

Wondering if next progression will be, swift street justice?

Too hot and smoky to commit burglary? They’ll be back soon.

Just wondering if the decline in auto burglaries is because they put up the homeless in motels. They were living in the creek by the Willows. Do they get their drugs delivered here like the do in San Francisco?
