The population of Contra Costa County is about 1.1-million.
Dang, look at that hospitalization number. Going way down! Note also that only six people have died in September, so the big drop in hospitalized cases is not driven by a bunch of deaths.
Unfortunately, the updated county dashboard seems to have broken the deaths by day table.
The deaths by day table on the County dashboard show six deaths this month and none since 9/9/2020. However, if you look at the total deaths number it has been rising. Claycord’s September 1, 2020 Daily Update shows 179 total deaths. Today it’s 198 total deaths or an increase of 19 deaths so far in September. The deaths were on
19 total deaths so far in September. I’ve been hoping the county would notice the discrepancy and fix it.
Aw, that’s not quite as good as I had thought. Thanks for pointing that out. Still good that hospitalizations are down, but I see I was mailed on the daily deaths.
Bay Point is still out of control. Food trucks everywhere, serving unmasked people. There are no handwash stations for the cooks or the patrons. There are also large parties at 4 houses that boarder my property. People just don’t care.
