Due to extreme fire danger, created by a combination of winds, low relative humidity, high temperatures, and dryness of the vegetation after several hot days, Mount Diablo State Park is closed until further notice, according to Park Ranger Cameron Morrison.
This closure applies to all visitors including hikers, bicyclists, equestrians, campers, and vehicles.
