Concord Police Department arrested five drivers on suspicion of DUI while conducting a DUI enforcement patrol on Friday night.
“Driving under the influence is dangerous, illegal and puts a further strain on resources in the middle of a pandemic,” Lt. Mark Robison said. “We are still out there and will not hesitate to stop drivers who drive impaired.”
Drivers charged with DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, as well as a suspended license.
Wow, you can kill someone cheaper than a DUI. Keep that uber number handy.
WOW, twice in a row, they’ve exceeded limit. I’m impressed.
Awesome! 5 drunks off the street. You’d think they’d learn. Especially w advance notice. Ah well, drunks aren’t always the smartest.
Doesn’t necessarily mean drunks!
People think because pot is legal, they can do it when they drive, or before. Hope they get more people Driving under the influence!! Aggravating being stuck behind someone in traffic smoking out there car and its entering yours😠
@Momofboys
It really is a no brainer keeping someone else’s smoke from entering your car: close your windows.
If simply rolling up the windows would prevent that, couldn’t we all just roll our windows up during the fire and not smell it? And if that is the case, wouldn’t rolling up windows prevent the spread of COVID?
@The masked (gloved) protester
I should have to!!!!! They are breaking the law!
@Two Wheeler, exactly!
