PRIOR DAY TOTALS:
The population of Contra Costa County is about 1.1-million.
Oh wait what’s this?
Yeah, virus looks totally under control. Open the schools. Open everything. Nothing to see here. Only fraidy cats wear masks.
Manipulation of numbers or incompetence?
I am curious as to why the numbers tested have gone down significantly since Saturday (from 1,629 to 670) and the positivity rate (7 day average) has sky rocketed from 9.31% to 14.05%.
What constitutes an active outbreak in a long term care facility?
Are there numbers out there to say how many people have died from Covid that had no preexisting conditions?
A responsible press would post parallel incidence and death data for cancer and heart disease, which would help readers put this in perspective. How much damage are we doing to society as a whole, and shouldn’t the press avoid publishing partial and emotional data constantly?
