@Exit12A Exactly. We the People can decide whether to hand out candy or join the festivities. #MakeHalloweenGreatAgain

Just how would you cancel it? While I don’t give out candy, I do have other eatables kids like. I plan to have them out this year too. Besides, it’s the one day of they where it is okay to wear masks.

Halloween will be cancelled. Any vaccine that is discovered before election day will be trashed.
Don’t need to “cancel it”, people can still celebrate and dress up, but the trick or treating part will not happen, at least not at my house, we will be dark and won’t be answering door or giving out candy. Sorry little chicks and dudes….

Canceling Halloween is the funniest thing I think I’ve ever heard. Everyone has a mask. I’m gonna dress as Gavin Newsom with a big old bag of blow. (Fake of course) I don’t get gifted 3.7 million dollar homes mysteriously. I can’t party like that. That guy is so jacked up half the time..why don’t we drug test our employees?

Once the election is over, this year of fake and fear is over
Lock the door and shut off the lights. I never give out Candy. Why partake in the foolishness.

I’m going as the Chinese Virus this year or a Kung Flu Master and will have audio clips on repeat of coughing sounds playing as I walk around! I use the coughing audio clips off youtube on my phone while I walk around the grocery store and parks as well they work great at keeping people at bay!
Yes, it will be canceled because the election is not until Nov. 3rd, and all this COVID restriction nonsense is politically motivated, from the Democrats and their allies in the media.
Why is Safeway putting this out so early? My guess is the shelf space was paid for by the candy manufacturers to induce those members of the public who are addicted to sugar to buy a bag or two, even if it is a bit early in the holiday season (can’t hurt, right?), to generate some early holiday revenue, You know people, the sugar addicts who consume Frappuccino and whipped cream masquerading as coffee drinks, eat glazed doughnuts or fruit/health bars with breakfast, enjoy the fried food crunch at lunch (breading turns into sugar), slurping pasta and sugary sauces for dinner (pasta turns into sugar), then believe they’re not too overweight or too obese.
According to research done by Harvard’s Chan School of Public Health, it is estimated that around 40% of Americans are considered obese, and 18% are considered severely obese as of 2019. Severe obesity is defined as a BMI over 35. Their projections say that about 50% the US population will be considered obese and 25% will be considered severely obese by the year 2030.
Btw, it’s fat-shaming if it’s intended to be mean. If it’s intended to be helpful it should be received as educational. I hope you found this to be educational and decide not to line the pockets of the corporations that kill people for profit. They don’t care if you’re overweight, obese, or morbidly obese and about to die (more profitable for them if you are, though), they just want to put their product close to the checkout lanes so you see it a little before you check out. What’s a little early holiday cheer? Can’t hurt, right?
Break the sugar addiction. Diabetic amputations are not worth the sweet taste on the tongue.

Safeway puts out the candy early because the warehouses send it to them in July and the stores can’t just keep it in the back for months on end! It’s gotta go somewhere out of the way, so to the sales floor it is!
I hear Walmart is drowning in back to school supplies, but who’s going to buy those now?

Ha ha ha I’m sorry did you think holidays were about families? They are about selling things.
I thought it was funny a few weeks ago that Michaels had a sale on vintage looking Halloween holiday Christmas trees but they had a run on them and did a huge business. And I can basically guarantee you right now that Halloween will not be the same as we know it this year

Once in a blue moon you need to break the rules. Because Halloween will actually be a Blue Moon. Kind of reflects the feelings around here during the pandemic.

Why would trick or treating need to be cancelled? I mean if your miserable and grumpy and do not want kids at your door then turn your light off. If people are getting together now, you know they are going to get together for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Why fight it? Just roll with it. It truly is funny how scared people really are over this virus!
Yes it will be canceled. If anyone thinks something is fun it is immediately canceled. Halloween won’t be spared.
Canceled??,…Why? Maybe no Trick or Treating,…..but dressing up for Halloween is still on my list of FUN!,….even at my age,… 🙂
Why cancel it? Everybody already has a mask.
Ding!
Ding!
Ding!
We have a winner!
Hahahahaha!
Outstanding!
No. Halloween is a grassroots event and will happen whether it is banned or not by the government “for your safety”.
We the people will decide for ourselves, individually.

yep restrictions will be totally lifted about the second week of november
Well, the Trick part has been going on for four months now. Perhaps we can have the Treat part on Halloween.
