FWIW, if there isn’t a known connection between the victim and shooter… I did see for the first time an MS13 tag in Walnut Creek. On the trail under Ygnacio…
But, remember this is a nation-state of laws! So let the criminals out of prison 🙂
Thank the puss Governor
Yep. MS13 is all over Concord. Northern Concord, Monument, the trash Ygnacio Valley HS border you WC. You also can google gang territories and it’ll show you exactly where they are. Pretty scary. I remember hearing that Concord was a pretty bad gang hub in 90’s but they supposedly did a good job cleaning it up. Now it seems like they are letting them infiltrate this city again. It won’t get better. Only worse.
this phone number “has been disconnected or is no longer in service”
Walnut Creek Police non-emergency line (925) 943-5844
This is happening all over the country. It’s part of the the “no justice no peace” movement.
Congratulations…
Walnut Creek is going downhill. Not surprised by this.
Anybody see what’s going on in Oakland lately? Lake Merritt is worse than ever. But the big story was a fire engine – going to an emergency call – was swarmed by protestors. Oh wait – sorry – they were called
“July 4th Revelers”. Truck never made it to the emergency- luckily another engine was dispatched.
This is like the flip side of the “Summer of Love” in San Francisco. All the darkest, most disturbing behavior run amok.
That’s kind of a stretch
If they don’t care, I don’t care.
Nobody has been pushing back against these criminals spreading across the country under the guise of “oppression” so you get this in your front yard.
I need to get the fork out of Commifornia!
What’s to love other than the weather?
Liberal politicians and their low IQ voting base have destroyed the state! There’s no going back, it’s too far gone.
Let democrats live this way and the rest of us can go live with law & order!
Even the weather has gone nuts!
It sure isn’t the Walnut Creek I grew up in. Sad.
There used to be a lot of graffiti in WC about 20 years ago. I think it was associated with gangs. I noticed that I stopped noticing it maybe 10 or 15 years ago.
Thanks Newscum. Keep ignoring law and order so you and your commie, liberal, entitlement crowd, illegals can garner votes.
Current politicians are afraid of their own shadows, you will reap what you sow. Keep de-funding the police.
People are fed up with your double speak. Legal voters read everything and use your common sense and vote these fools out. I am tired of supporting the losers in this state and country. I have no sympathy for looters and protesters who destroy and pillage. Then they expect the citizens who pay more than there fair share to keep rebuilding and supporting them.
Why do you think so many corporations are leaving the state.
Very sad state of affairs when those of us who care cannot voice our opinions in fear of being killed, hurt, maimed or having our lives thrown under the bus. The media is a joke.
You cannot even speak the truth anymore or state honest facts without being deemed.racist.
With schools planning on operating 2 days a week in the fall what could go wrong?
Aunt Barbara, your so right. I am so tired of that word being used to shut people up. It’s not about color it’s about right and wrong.
Sorry for my gullibility, but if you are not being sarcastic, you have probably spent too much time in self isolation. Get out and get some fresh air
For all of you Concord residents, Your claim about the demise of Walnut Creek is premature. Ygnacio Valley Road is not Monument Blvd.
Have no fear citizens of Walnut Creek, 108RS is on patrol….Stopped at petty theft at the corner of Broadway and Mt. Diablo on the night of the shooting.
108RS
Thanks Jeff
Will we ever hear if this guy is arrested? Did they ever arrest the last one? It would be nice to be updated, but seems all the Pro tem Mayors in Walnut Creek just hide out while brushing it under the rugs at City Hall.
Hey concord resident sell your Big 300k house and buy a 5000 square foot house in Brentwood for 400k then.
