That really sucks! That is actually their best gym. They have a lot of older equipment in that gym that they do not have at the new super sport club, I will probably cancel my membership
Yikes

There was not enough parking at N. Main Facility that is remaining open before. It will be impossible when nearest other location is closed.

I seriously think Chick-fil-a should take over that building to satisfy the demand for their food.
Chick-fil-a customers have been happily using the 24-Hour Fitness parking lot for the past few weeks for outdoor dining and to park for walk-up orders.
Take a chicken sandwich and eat it across the street. You can come up with a better option than that busy driveway.
Someone messed up and someone needs to fix it. Anyone else going in there will have this issue front row and center.
It’s best to just confront this and fix it I am not even joking.
People and chicken don’t play around..it’s like Vegans at the sprouts, you better mover.

And here we have local towns complaining about budget woes. The same people who encouraged the lockdown and social distancing. No businesses, no revenue. And decent citizens suffer.

That doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense. It would seem like distancing, smaller crowd size, and additional servicing to equipment assuring cleanliness between customers would mean they need MORE locations not less. Maybe it’s time to talk about share holders or CEO salaries instead. Oh wait, I forgot, the 1% are sacred and earnings should be protected forget about the customers. This is how some of the elite have no idea how to adjust operations temporarily, probably 6 more months. I don’t buy it and am thankful I never gave them MU money as a member.
Many business’s can’t go 90 days without revenue, especially Ma and Pa. We are just getting started with business’s announcing formal closing. As for publically traded companies, shareholders, mutual fund managers, and hedge funds have already bailed out which puts the CEOs out of work also.
If profits are not protected there will be
no business. Sounds like it’s time for you
to open your own chain of health clubs.
Show us how you’d adjust operations.
Just make sure you don’t make too much
money and become one of those successful
people you dislike.
I used to work out there about 16 or 17 years ago. Me and my buddy would go about eight or 9 PM after smoking a bunch of weed and then hit up the machines for an hour maybe an hour and a half and then the spa and then the sauna and then the steam room and stretch. Only organized gym I ever attended. It had a good vibe at that time of night. Although I was paying about $40 a month while veteran members told me they were paying $23. So eventually I just started working out at the house instead and buying my own machines and weights

There is zero place to park at the Main St. location now. You will never convince me the employees will be able to keep gyms virus free, most of them are full of germs regularly, much less with a pandemic still going on.

Not at all surprised, but disappointed because that club was walkable for me where I live now. I’ll probably drop my membership. I am not a fan of the new big one near Treat.

I joined the gym there when it was The Golden Triangle. I got bought by 24 Hour Fitness, a company which was run by my nephew’s high school classmate. I had a gym membership before to European Health Spas from the 1970s. Remember them? I had a lifetime membership. In the 1980s that company was bought by Family Fitness Centers and I went there once to get get my membership transferred but they wanted to give me a tour of the facility (this was in another state) and I didn’t have time and didn’t get back. Of course then 24 Fitness bought Family Fitness Centers. I should have never paid and additional dime to use it.
They are taking the opportunity to eliminate under-performing clubs. Just like many businesses will be taking the opportunity to eliminate under-performing employees.
Except for one problem with your statement, that gym wasn’t underperforming. The 24 hour fitness active club was very popular and many people perferd that club over the super sport club.

UFC Gym should buy them and move operations or training. We need some testosterone in that inner section. Joke.
Alamo is also closing.

24 Hour Fitness is teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. They can’t afford to keep all their locations open.
No money = no locations.

Sounds like you want to live in a communist country. You know nothing about business and the sacrifice and intelligence it takes.

Joined Golden Triangle in 1992, been going to that location ever since. Worked for me!
.
But where will the MILFs n cougars hunt?
They were never hunting at the gym. They don’t serve chardonnay there.
BITD it was WPLJ’s.
