She’ll be out in 10 minutes

Har Lawyer says she was protesting, so all is forgiven.

Young good looking girl should have learned to use Uber. Don’t drink myself but family members use Uber all the time. When needed. She is going to be old before she gets out.

Probably…. Zero bail policies…… maybe we should hold the politicians legally liable for overturning laws that we the people voted for, and releasing offenders who in turn commit crimes and cause bodily injury/death, just like they want to do…holding law enforcement officers personally responsible for any death/injury they inflict on duty. Not under some umbrella insurance policy. Maybe this will help resolve the politicians idiotic/irresponsible actions.

This won’t help her case any…

We will make sure every dirty thing she has ever done is brought up!! This waste of life killed my sister in law and her co worker and she needs to rot in jail for the rest of her natural life for taking 2lives. Now 2 kids are without their parents because of a a senseless act. We will get JUSTICE!!

Tricia – Sorry for your loss. Just a senseless loss of innocent life. It’s always the innocwnt ones that get hurt/killed.

Throw book at her. Throw away key.

You lumping a lot of things together here. She caused the death of 2 innocent people, because she had too much to drink and decided to drive. No sympathy for her, no I don’t think you give the death penalty for drunk driving, but she needs to be locked up for a long time, and if she gets out, by then she will hopefully have learned her lesson, In fact, being in the hospital, and now in jail, I’m willing to bet, she already has regrets, not that should matter.
The rioting have nothing to do with this, and Hilary’s loss has nothing to do with the rioting, the people rioting and looting, I would venture to say are not political, they are anarchist.

A lesson to all the other yo-yo’s out there? Nah

Hopefully she gets kept at Martinez and not taken to west County Jail in Richmond. Martinez is punishment while West County is like a motel. Take a private shower whenever you please (maybe 3) during one of the many common times. Watch tv and movies and have a key to your own room.

Martinez is actual jail and my old school mate Ben Carrasco died there. In his 30s…

while on jury duty in Martinez, I heard the horrific screaming out the jail of the drug addicts detoxing. That’s enough to sober one up!
I’m sure this girls nasty attorney will claim the shelter in place and stress caused the excessive drinking and get the charges down to drunk in public.

I seriously doubt that. She killed 2 people, she is entitled to a defense, that is the law of the land. However, it is not like she was drunk and ran a stop sign, or swerved a little. She killed 2 innocent people, and I feel certain she will spend a number of years in jail, as she should

She’s not a minority. She’ll get out in a couple of months. I was right about Lori Loughlin.

Has nothing to do with skin color. Lori got off because she has oodles of money. Cold, hard cash and a building full of lawyers. Just like an BLACK celebrity with a ton of money. They get off too. But, continue race baiting. That seems to make a lot of sense. SMH.

serious question: when the police force is abolished what do we do with people like this? just assign her a local counselor? require a few community service hours? there are so many situations that require a police force and this story is a perfect example of our need for police officers.

Defunding police = idiotic idea without thinking about the alternatives or ramifications. That being said, it will probably be accepted like wildfire throughout California. That’s exactly how the California electorate makes decisions!

This entire scene should of never happened. She chose to drink and drive. She needs to pay the price. Sadly enough she’ll most likely be sentenced to 15 years and do 10. Damn shame.

Lori Laughlin didn’t kill anybody. No one serves 2 months for killing two people. I don’t care how bad the system is

To Tricia, So sorry for your loss, how awful for your family. I agree with Jim the Lori Laughlin comparison does not work.

Get a rope and find a tree.

The sad thing is we will see other people doing this over and over. Now that I am getting mature shall I say : old! I have seen this terrible tragedy over and over. Just plain old heart breaking.

@Hanne “no I don’t think you give the death penalty for drunk driving”

Nobody said it’d be for drunk driving. It’d be for murdering 2 people. In any other situation, you murder 2 people, you got a good chance of getting life in prison or the death penalty. The fact that it happened inside of cars doesn’t make it special or different.
You drive drunk, you roll the dice not only on your own life, but on other peoples’ lives. And if you lose that life or death bet, you deserve ALL that is coming to you.

Keep drinking that Koolaid, bud.
