A senior care facility in Contra Costa County has at least 27 confirmed coronavirus cases (no deaths as of Friday morning), according to the Contra Costa County Health Department.
The health department won’t release any further details until after a 2 p.m. in-person press conference in Martinez.
UPDATE: The facility is the Orinda Care Center.
Make sure they give them Hydroxychloroquine. Let’s not lose them.
I wonder if this is why our number jumped by the same amount yesterday?
It may be time to replace the head of the health department. This big secrecy thing is flat wrong. We are grown ups and can handle facts .
I agree.
LOL that’s funny
Finally they want to be honest? Telling the truth is not racist, or giving out confidential information. There should have been no visitors to the care facility for weeks, only employees and service people. Someone slipped up.
Microdroplets and transmission:

Apparently, occupying a room even after people have left could easily result in infection. The microdroplets are hanging there for a very long time.
Very interesting video! Now that explains why the rhetoric has changed to wearing masks ala bandido style, so as to protect others.
Is this the Senior Care Facility in Walnut Creek?
No. Orinda like the article says
Sallie, If you pay attention and look at the time I posted – it says 1:47 p.m. – meaning it wasn’t known since 2:00 pm is when they updated the article to where the Senior Facility was. Just FYI.
Oh wow! Orinda Care Center?!
How can they quarantine these poor people, Isn’t this place double occupancy, where you have to share the room?
Crap, that is not good.
