The Contra Costa Community College District’s three main campuses, two satellite campus and its Martinez headquarters are suspending all in-person classes and other face-to-face student interactions beginning Monday, with all campuses closed to students to minimize the spread of coronavirus until further notice, a district spokesman said.

The plan is to begin offering “remote format delivery” of classes and student support services starting Wednesday. Over the next few days, faculty and staff at all campuses will develop and implement transition plans for online classes, to minimize the chances of spread of the coronavirus among students, faculty and staff.

The affected campuses are Contra Costa College in San Pablo, Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, Los Medanos College in Pittsburg, DVC’s San Ramon Campus and LMC’s Brentwood Center.
