There is no way there is an exact count.
Many people are probably home thinking they have a cold and it’s the “Big Media hyped one instead.

I have a feeling that’s why they say “confirmed”. I am sure there are more to come.

CCC is large. Where are they from and where have they been?

I’d love to hear out of how many tests, since GETTING the test seems to be an uphill battle.

People need to be stop being such pigs at the local supermarkets and hoarding several cases of toilet paper. Your family is not that big, and you don’t need to keep extra supplies until next September.

This morning I went to Safeway to buy food. As I was heading toward the self check-out, I saw a lady had her cart filled with paper towels. I thought that lady must be doing alot of cleaning. LOL

I got a warning from an IT group that there are now malicious websites promising information on the virus, but when you click on it you download malware that steals your information or otherwise does harm. There is never a lack of low quality people who will take advantage of others.

May be helpful… a valid website that is easy to remember is http://coronavirus.gov – it redirects to the CDC site: Center for Disease Control and Prevention

I wonder how sick and what age those people had to be to qualify to get a test? Trying to get a test is impossible from what I understand.

A person in my office building was tested on 3-5; results were available FIVE days later. This number is already outdated. This is an intentional attempt to “not cause panic”, Ha!

Stores need to stop people from hoarding.. Need to have a limit per person, since everyone has gone nuts with NARCISSISM

I believe the testing is being done at the state and local level now. This isn’t something that is going to be handled by the CDC all over the country, the CDC just isn’t big enough to do that.

There is a test supply bottleneck, so the testing is being done in cases where there is strong reason to suspect CV, or the patient is in dire health. How long that bottleneck lasts, and who messed it up compared to Korea’s testing response I don’t know. It would sure be nice if we still had some sort of media that did investigations and reporting to give us those facts, instead of everything being instantly politicized.

This whole situation will be handled by state and local authorities, with federal support, for the most part. It’s the way our system of government is set up. Even our own governor, Mr Newsom has stated they are getting what they need from their federal counterparts.

I know this is scary, but everyone needs to calm down. Give this time for the control measures to work and for the infection rates to find their peak and then decline. All we can do is keep washing our hands, stay out of crowds, and wait.

It might be helpful to remember that stress compromises your immune system. So stress out if it makes you feel better. I’ll just do what I can control to remain healthy.

I guess it’s better known as “mass hysteria”
people are creating a bigger problem than it really is.The media needs to shut down before anything else.

I was in Winco this morning, there seemed to be plenty of everything except antibacterial hand wipes. They even had extra displays of bleach and TP.

The problem with testing everybody is that a week after they get there results they will think they have the virus and want another test. If that test is negative a couple of weeks later they will want another test.
If you test negative it is negative for that moment in time.

I’ve got Covid-19 Fever: I’m deathly sick of hearing about it!!
