Great

Hopefully they teach the staff to change the fryer oil regularly 3 times in a row nasty fries

Yep gave them 3 chances stopped going

I like to support local businesses until they end up on the rodent and shut down list
or can’t perform basic functions like changing the oil or completely bagging an order

Especially after demanding 15 hr to do it

Seems most just shows up for a paycheck and have no work ethics and or training

I never had to work with food

So I have a deep respect for those who perform their job admirably and keep it clean

It’s too bad Kfc is going to pay for an upgrade when the city council is trying to lower the quality of the area by forcing in Salvation Army and more dollar stores in the area

Since kfc is on the higher side of pricing

Hope their business doesn’t suffer from city council neglect and politician tactics to subdue a once thriving area

The staff was the main problem over there I stopped going about a year back after multiple times their chicken was only 1/4 inch thick with 1inch of hard crusty breading, in addition to the low quality staff that continously messed up my orders every time I went. Finally said enough is enough and have been boycotting spending any money at that location and all KFC for that matter. Food low quality, staff low quality.

Unfortunately the restaurant business is a very complicated one at best. Instead of hurrying to serve a quality product, there is something wrong with the entire assembly line mentality there.

98% of Clayton Rd. could use a makeover. Maybe other businesses will do the same.

Yes it could, but it won’t get rid of the bums and drug addicts. Perhaps buying them bus tickets to Fair Oaks where they can visit our Governor directly at his $3.7M estate would be beneficial.

It all sounded good until they said it was only going to cost $75,000.

Hopefully by “makeover” they will just tear it down!

Couldn’t they just level that dump and dispense Bourbon and Moonshine instead. And.

It won’t make the food any better…guess the old adage doesn’t apply, you can put a bow on a turd but it’s still a turd.

….Are you aware of how franchises work?

Just a little lipstick on a pig.

But easier than lipstick on a chicken.

I do VDB…My perspective on local business is a Mom & Pop type of establishment. My perspective on life is to be kind to one another.

I noticed the sign the other day. I’ve said it before, any business that does a face lift, improves the interior and/or kitchen, is a good thing. There’s been a handful that have done this over the last few years. I wish more would do the same. There’s plenty of business that never update themselves. Those are the ones that would worry me more.

Although there was one perplexing upgrade in the area. The Burger King on Ygnacio– the drive thru sign for ordering is positioned in such a way, that it’s impossible to read BEFORE you order. You pretty much have to know what you want without ever seeing any menu. I’m not sure if it’s broken, but it’s been that way for quite some time. Every once in a while I’ll drive thru and then pass the ordering speaker and learn they have something that I didn’t realize was an option until it was too late.

They purposely put that sign there so while you are patiently waiting in line for the next time you re patronize. If they put the sign before ordering the lines would be miles longer because some patrons take forever to make up their minds and cannot even read just enjoy the pictures.

Everything on Clayton Road needs a makeover.

About three or four years ago, my wife and I stopped by here at about 11:30 PM on a Saturday night after a long drive back from Tahoe. There was a scary bunch of people in there, including a guy who tried to pay with his food with $100 bills that kept getting rejected by the counter person who tested the bills.
