Paramedics are responding to Ygnacio Valley Rd. at N. Via Monte after a report came in of a man down with a needle in his arm.
The location is next to the Orchards shopping center (Safeway).
It’s currently unknown if the man is in the roadway.
Use caution if you’re in the area.

I don’t know why people seem so surprised by this sort of thing, it may not be daily but Walnut Creek has been home to meth freakouts, rapists, pedos, corrupt officials, thefts, fights, murders etc. It’s like a week after something bad happens everyone comes down with amnesia. It’s not the saintly place people pretend it is.
Not to mention the confused transgender that want to use the wrong bathrooms.
It’s almost as if drug problems and addiction know no fiscal and social boundaries…..

Your name sounds like you’re a man, so sharing a restroom with a woman isn’t that big of a deal. However, consider being a woman (or little girl) alone in a bathroom with a grown man.
The unisex bathroom issue bothers when men leave toilet seats up and bust through the door on a naked woman in a compromising position. (broken locks etc. and bathroom video cameras being installed.

My wife and I are who found him at the bus stop and grabbed the AMR crew at Starbucks for help. Sad waste of a life to get hooked on drugs like that. My wife is an immigrant from South Africa and she is always saddened by the amount of people shooting up here as she’d never seen anything like it back home.

I got bad news for you, South Africa’s has an epidemic drug problem with Nyaope ( black tar heroin mixed with other substances) that has growing steadily since the late 2000’s.
Thats not as big of a problem as the fentanyl coming out of China mixing with Heroin and cocaine. Also the new one out of China has been showing up on the East coast and making its way here, its a lot more potent and deadly that fentanyl. The stuff coming out of Africa is nothing compared to whats here already from China.

I worked in Walnut Creek for years, a whole lot of attitude, not only from the public but the police as well. Your right, a larger version of Blackhawk which your not.
