If you thought it was windy on Sunday, you were right.
Wind gusts atop Mt. Diablo reached 75-mph, and in Concord, they topped out at 47, according to the National Weather Service.
In Napa County, Mt. Saint Helena saw wind gusts of 87-mph.

An old retiree flys kites near the local boat marinas…..he said the perfect breeze for kite flying is 7 mph.
Here in Kirkwood, the wind averaged 10 mph with peak gusts to 20 mph. Granted, my anemometer is in a somewhat protected location on the back fence.
