At 7:17 a.m. this morning, Concord Police Officers responded to Clayton Valley Charter High School after school staff learned of possible threats made against the school by a student on social media.
School staff conducted a lockdown prior to officers’ arrival. The lockdown was lifted by the school staff when officers arrived on scene and it was determined the involved student was not on campus.
Officers conducted follow up investigation and were able to contact the involved student at his home. Officers interviewed the student who was then placed on a mental health evaluation hold.
The investigation into the exact nature of the threats in ongoing.
