Officers from the Concord Police Department will be out this evening looking for people suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

DUI saturation patrols will take place in areas with high frequencies of DUI collisions and/or arrests.

In 2017, 1,120 people were killed in alcohol-involved crashes on California roads.

Funding for this DUI operation is provided to the Concord Police Department by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Thank You for the warning…I will not drive, and plan to get saturated at home tonight.

They are saturating Monument Boulevard right now.

There should be saturation patrols in moraga, Lafayette, Orinda, walnut Creek and all the other affluent communities in this county….

How do you know there aren’t?

Moraga, Lafayette, Orinda, and Walnut Creek probably wouldn’t appreciate Concord Police doing saturation patrols in their towns.

Last night there was a guy in an Audi on the wrong side of Galindo!

If you are saturated, don’t get behind the wheel! That is one VERY expensive trip… at least $20,000 with fines, classes, increased insurance rates, etc…

there were two impatient cars passing on Willow Pass after crossing the bridge on MLK Monday. i was coming the other way. Impatient drivers causing a big danger to oncoming traffic. Why no sobriety checkpoint out there at 4 and WP?
