The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is screening passengers arriving to SFO from Wuhan, China for a new strain of the coronavirus.
The screenings will include passengers on nonstop flights from Wuhan and connecting passengers whose travel started in Wuhan.
The screenings will occur inside the customs facility at SFO.
The CDC has also issued a Health Alert for travelers from Wuhan.
If a traveler feels sick with a fever or cough or has difficulty breathing within two weeks of traveling to Wuhan, they are advised to call a doctor and tell the doctor they were in Wuhan.
Seriously,who would want to travel where they eat wolves and rats and have no health standards? Stop people from entering US from there until it ends.
The virus is known to be carried by bats however it wasn’t known to be contagious to humans, Now the hypothesis that this particular strain is from snakes; cobras being sold at wuhan markets. And have you tried Snake? Tastes like chicken! ( no, really).
I had a Chinese co-worker that confirmed that in that in that part of the world, if it moves it’s food.

I thought that the Wuhan airport was closed and residents of the city were on a lock down. How are they still entering the US for screening at SFO?
The screening will do little good. A doctor on the TV newscast said it takes four to six days for the virus to show signs.
Its already here. CDC is both spineless and clueless.
