Congressman DeSaulnier Issues Statement On Passage Of U.S-Mexico-Canada Agreement

Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) issued the following statement on today’s passage of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The legislation passed by a vote of 385-to-41 with Congressman DeSaulnier voting against.

“The version of the USMCA passed by the House represents important progress in areas that affect Americans across the country,” Congressman DeSaulnier said. “Although negotiations with Democrats made this legislation far better than what was presented to us by the Trump Administration, I do not have confidence that American workers and the environment are adequately protected. With the harm workers in my district suffered after NAFTA was enacted, we must do more to protect against outsourcing and simultaneously provide stronger environmental protections to combat the effects of climate change while the White House denies its impacts.”

Someone should ask Congressman De Saulnier, why it took 15 months for it to be discussed and voted on? Way too long for important things to get done from the “Hill”.

Mark you are a Jackass.

That’s an insult to Jackasses.

BIG TIME!

“Although negotiations with Democrats made this legislation far better than what was presented to us by the Trump Administration” Really Mark? Master negotiators? Now that the impeachment vote is in, I guess it’s time to bloviate and remind the American people how great the Democrats are! Well done Mark! You’re the greatest! Democrats rule! Now excuse me while I go projectile vomit and then rip open a blister pack of Prilosec.

One word deslacker

CHINA

they are spewing forth way more than us they are bigger and have a dictator
Who cares not about how much coal and diesel he is burning manufacturing the worlds goods at breakneck speed due to forced labor socialist communist regime

So take your Pom Poms

Back to pelosi

You didn’t back it yet say it’s a good thing and theN Complain you dont get a cut

Go back to slandering trump

At least you are following a rehearsed stance given by pelosi when you do

On your own you sound like a chicken who can’t lay an egg

Your living proof anyone can be a demorat

Second that !

Climate change? The White House denies handing over billions of dollars to other countries to do their part in slowing climate change in their own countries. They are responsible to clean up their own problems. Just as we are to do our own part here in America. We are doing our part here, which has nothing to do with denying climate change. Everything to do with not paying blackmail to get other countries to do the same. Truth is not a bad thing.

I have always voted D but had questions about NAFTA and this current iteration. Thank you, Congressman.

Well you can thank Donald Trump. If Schillary was president nothing would change and we would just keep taking it in the rear from Mexico and China.

Mark is a fool.

Nancy Pelosi has decided that she will no longer put up with Republicans winning presidential elections. Thus the impeachment.

Many voters are outraged. The American public witnessed first hand, the actions of two power-hungry, authoritarian elected officials: Congressman Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler.

Both of them angrily gaveled down Republican questions such as: “where’s the whistleblower?”, and “where’s Hunter Biden?”.

Nancy’s solution? A diversion tactic. Take credit for the USMCA after delaying it for months.

Some good news: U.S. Attorney General Barr is expanding his investigations into the CIA, NSA, and other intelligence agencies. The Democrat’s attempted overthrow of President Trump worried AG Barr so much that he returned to his old job in order to straighten out the house (pun).

More good news: President Trump has selected some great conservative judges in the past three years. The Democrats are in panic mode. They rushed through impeachment, while abandoning due process. They want their left wing courts back.

Fool

So what …. what have you done … MAGA

When your rep says the Dems made it far better than the Trump admin presented it, I think he should spell out exactly and clearly what he ment by that statement. But only if he read it before voting on it……

I’ll ask again:

What has Congressman DeSaulnier done for us in our district?

I recall reading that a Congressman is elected to serve a specific district.

He is just like a Seinfeld episode…A big nothing…

…burger.

Awesome Job Democrats and Trump.

The AFL-CIO Union is VERY happy with this outcome.

The Teamsters LOVE the outcome.

Given how ecstatic the Unions are I am thinking this is a much better deal.

Yet another useless, being led by the nose politician that some how got elected and is a fool and a job who by the way gets much better health care than any of us can hope to afford.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT! Let’s start a movement to get them out of office.

Combat global warming? Ignorant fool. If you want to discuss pollution, discuss China, Mexico and Brazil. As for climate change…It is always changing. Always has, always will. Quit scaring the children.

Great Post…100% agree

But scared children are docile and obedient. That’s the idea.

India is also a big polluter on the world stage. They are not interested in climate control or following there own air pollution control laws. Friend of family born and raised in India just came back and said air quality so poor it is hard to breath and they burn everything.
